Need Help ! White Leaf PICS

strain is automatic white russian

age is around 3 weeks

symptom is white leaves.. the leafs with white are real fragile to the touch

soil ph 6.8

soil is mg organic

light setup 4 26w cfl on 2 plants in a pc grow box .. its real small..

my guess is i had the cfl too close and it caused heat stress?

how far was?how often do you water?are u using any fertilizers?

I think that the MG Organic is too strong for your young plant, give it a good flush.
If it was light burn, the leaves would be brown.

Looks overwatered to me. That MG organic soil will retain a lot of water, so you've got to be careful about watering. Let the pot get totally dry and light before watering again.

Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't give it any nutrients for the first few weeks of life too.

thanks man so overwatering can cause this i didnt know that... i might have went overboard cus i did just water it and it happened after that... i let the soil get dry before every watering but this soil is so poor for drainage i never know how nuch water to put... also to the other guy im not givin any nutes at all just pure spring water.. and i keep my cfls as close as possible at about 2 inches..

I always allow my plants to dry out between watering, it allows oxygen to get to the roots. If you must use MG soil, you need to be very carefull, it's not usually recommended for growing MJ.
Judge when your plants need watering by the weight of the pot, not how dry the top is, the leaves will also tell you when they need water.

I would recommend adding some perlite to your soil when you re-pot (looks like you're still in a plastic cup). Just mix in a cup or two depending on the size of your pot and you'll get better aeration and drainage.

After about the third week or so you'll probably need to begin adding light nutrients to your water when you feed. HOWEVER, if you are going to re-pot with the same soil (or any soil with built-in nutrients) it won't need additional nutrients for a week or two after repotting, because the soil already has nutrients.

You could consider getting an organic fertilizer of bat guano and worm castings with a very low N-P-K ratio (like FoxFarm Big Bloom..it's their only organic liquid fertilizer product) to provide trace elements. Also a hit of Cal-Mag is good every so often.

But for right now, I think you'll be OK with the nutrients contained in the fresh soil
