I have 1 week old transplanted clones in 1 gal pots. They are under a mars II 1600. At first I had the light about 2 feet above and since have moved it to 3.5 feet above due to 1 plant having the leaves , since removed, showing heavy phospherous def. Signs by turning dark brown and curling back.
I though that maybe the light was causing too much transpiration. I have since cut back to 16/8 light, raised the light, and they look a little better.
I have a humidifier and can only get 40-55% rh at about 75-79 temps. I have an AC unit as well causing more dehumidifying, but I had no choice as my temps could not get below 84 otherwise. I have a 400cfm 6inch outake and 230cfm 4 inch intake both on speed control to low since the ac is also now outaking.
I have only watered twice so far, once on transplant with a runoff to get some nutes out, and then once 5 days later just RO water. Using FFOF, added Perlite and Dolomite lime. I do a daily foliar with epson salt, 1 tsp per gal diluted.
I did finally get ph up and down and tested 2nd runoff at ph 5.9. I know I need to get ph to 6.2-6.4 but I also do not want to overwater. I need them to get the phospherous as the stems are all very purple and they still show signs of def. But at a much slower pace.
Should I just flush them with RO ph adjusted to about 6.8 when they are dry to get ph in soil to 6.4 ish? Should I add some kelp or even a 1/8 strength of bloom nutes to get phospherous in there? I know my VPD is off, but I cannot get it better than 75-79 at 40-55%. Any advice would be much appreciated.
