Did you snap the stem....you don't give much detail
well a long time ago probly like 7 months ago or maybe longer idk i dont remember lol, weel anyways in the middle of the stem it looks like a T or a Y but straighter, it started to split right in the middle but only like a quarter of a inch, so i took stress off of them and then a month later it was completely healed and looked fine just light brown color were it split at, well about 8 months later(now) for the last couple weeks the two main branches died and i dont think i can bring them bak, ill be luckey as shit if so but naa, well theres three bigg branches that are under the dead ones like another Y, the main stem of the plant is just about 2 inches wide, a beast stem lol, and the main branches that died were about an inch, so i lost more then hafe the plant, but as the two main branches were dieing the three lower ones were getting bigger but one of the stems coming off one of thoses branches are starting to look just like how the other main branches looked, i really really want to keep this plant=/, theres nothing im doing wrong to it, i flushed, changed the soil in it, everything, didnt over due anything at all, the only thing i can think of is that split in the verry middle, and maybe cloning it but i always cloned it the right way everytime, i prefessional grower, a older friend even didnt no wat to say about it, the died branches got hollow before they died completely too if that has anything to do with it, the heat stays around 80, the humitity stays around 55 to 65, dont over nute it at all, i just dont no about it, plz help me!

Its okay you just sent off all of the hormones to the lower branches when the top branch split.....it was as if you FIM'd/topped the entire top branches as opposed to just doing the normal little snip for FIMing/topping.... just cut off the top branches as they are now useless and no new growth is going to come out of them cause there arent any hormones sent up there anymore.....Just chop them off where the Y split at right below the quarter of an inch split ;) After doing that the plant should now be able to send all its energy into the lower branches (instead of trying to heal the old tops which is what it has been doing and exhausting all of its energy in doing so for so long) the lower branches aka the two out of the 3 lower branches will be your main colas, which will now be the top(so to speak lol ;) and it will now be able to grow in an accelerated rate when you flower it.

Yea if its 50% dead or more cut it off at an angle, then flower those bitches they gota be big and out of control after 1year of veg? clone her for next time and let her mature already, for cannabis sake man.

P.S.......Sure youre probably already aware of how to LST a plant, but in the future (incase you dont know this alternative technique to LSTing) Here's what is personally done when LSTing is to soften the stem first so it is more pliable and not so brittle.... (and not just bending it back and forth slowly, this is a much different technique ;)

Take the stem/branch (whatever you want to train) and first spray warm water on it with a diluted solution of vitamin b(superthrive or cloning gel/powder) it will be absorbed into the stem to help the plant heal the cells inside as anytime you are bending a branch you are collapsing thousands upon thousands of plant cells inside and also compressing the vascularity/veins in which (chlorophyll other proteins etc...) are traveling through. Normally when LSTing these cells generally repair rather quickly and just slightly delay the growth of the branch, but in some cases it damages beyond adequate repair like in your case had occurred.

When LSTing do this next time.... again spray the point of where youre going to bend the stem/branch (not the whole stem LOL ;) with warm water(drop or two of vitamin b suppliment mixed in 20 oz or whatever spray bottle or larger) about 20-30 times until the stem where your going to train is soaked well. Why warm water? Because, the warmth of the water will make the cells in the stem/branch swell and it will stretch the cell walls so its like stretching before you go running so when you go out there and do a sprint you dont snap a hamstring and lets just say HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT HURTS LOL ;) haha anyways your going to make sure that the water is not hotter than 100 deg and 90 at the coldest.) After your spraying the first time dont bend the plant just yet give it a couple of minutes to swell then let give it another 2 mins to cool off. Repeat this process 3-4 times until when you gently push on the stem/branch the point of bending should be much softer(some strains have different thickness/hardness to their stems/branches so its all relative to your specific plant. Here's the trick, instead of bending it, try a gentle twist and roll over (again this is like a stretch for the plant and not snapping ;) (this way the stem/branch will still maintain all of its structural integrity and substantially less damage will occur to it.

As always.... enjoy your grow :)
