Ok, not quite as bad, but a mixer still is
beating the leafy material off w/ the trichomes, as you've obviously seen.
If,
the beginning material is
fresh or fresh frozen,
and
gentle to vigorous manual mixing is used,
for a
short(5-6 minutes)
period of time (the shorter the agitation time, the purer the result)
the result will be mostly uncontaminated trichomes
The only power equipment that does the job properly is an agitating washer.
Every method proponent says their solvent is best, but iso washing what you have is simpler and tons safer than butane.
Crush your product through a fine metal sieve into as granulated/powder as you can
Dissolve it in a mason jar of the purest iso/everclear you can find and coffee filter the liquid solution into a pie plate
Set the pie plate out in a ventilated place w/ a screen on top to keep out dirt. This small amount of solution will evaporate easily in a few hours w/out any heat source. I use a fan or heating vent when available......there really shouldn't be any need to rush.
The amount of drying time will be a direct result of the iso(70-99%) or everclear(95%) that you use.
it really is mostly common sense
SubCool just put up a pretty good video of the manual bubble process
