Need help with getting best yield with 3'x'3 ebbflow and 600 watt

I am trying to figure out how many plants should I put in my system. I have a 3.5ft x 3.5ft grow tent and a 3ft x3ft ebbflow hydro system and a 600 watt air cooled light. I am using 6inch x 6inch rockwool cubes. Last time I filled it to the max with 24 cubes and am not happy at all with yield. Anybody with experience with this set up???? I need help bad. How many plants should I plant and be spread apart to get the best yield out of my set up. THanks for reading and helping!:?:
I was flooding once a day in veg and twice a day in flower.

Dang. I figured somebody would have a idea of how to get the most yield out of the space I have. Please Help.
Is there a technique I can use to help, like topping or lollipopping that would help?/

Well if you get 4 inch rockwool cubes, you can get 27 in that whole tray. Although that would be pushing it and thats just 36in divided by 4in x 3 rows. So that would be wall to wall rockwool. But I bet you can get 20-25 in there and be good to go.

they sell slabs of rock wool. cover the bottom of your trey with the rock wool, you may need to cut it depending on size, and then put your as many grow cubes ( cubes that hold the plant) yo can on top.... WARNING!!!! this is best for a drip system, if using ebb and flow you may need to test how long it take the rocwool to dry out before another flood.

O yea the 2nd layer of rocwool is so the roots have pleanty of room to grow, i have seen a 14 foot tomato plant grown this way
