Need help with getting best yield with 3'x'3 ebbflow and 600 watt

i dont know what you did last time and what you yeild is so its kind of tough to tell you where you need to imprve you water schedule seems right but hopw long are you watering your plants for 15 mins (per time u water) should be fine maybe you should try using 16 plants and placing them in rows of four that way you can have a couple inces of space in between you will probly wanna use rockwool slabs or coco mats under ur cubes as well so they can grow some id probly only veg a week tops checl out my journal i am doing something similar i hope this helps

24 plants on a 3x3 is tight , do you do some kind of trimming? your best bet with that space is flowering clones while small to promote single cola growth and trim anything down below, or it could be genetics

id grow 9 in 6-8 inch pots filled with hydroton . currently in flower i flood 6 times per lights on with hydroton , never tried RW , good luck

i have exact same setup as you i finaly decided on 9 plants 1 sq. ft. per plant if thats any help . i prefer larger plants spread out was only gonna run 6 but when i laid them out 9 just looked better to me just my opinion though lol

The answer really depends on the characteristics of the strain that you are growing. some strains you can max yield by doing a SOG style grow, with about 20-22 plans in a 3X3. other strains that i have max out better if I do a SCOG style in a 3X3, using 10-15 plants. You have to experiment on how to achieve the most growth potential given the phenotypes that u a dealing with for a particular plant.

I would fill in the gaps between your 6in cubes with hydroton, in your food tray. This gives the plants extra space to stretch out the roots, and keeps them from getting stress out. remember that root health=yield.

better yet, i would skip the 6 inch cubes and do hydroton in gallon pots. Then u can flood 4-5 times per day. this has the benefit of bringing a constant supply of fresh O2 to the roots. I use this method with great success. plus.. those cubes can't be cheap, where as hydroton balls are reusable.

Why not a sea of green method, with 4" cubes & a coco mat?
Or check out my sig, 4"/6" cubes inside bags of hydroton...or 50% hydroton, 50% rockwool mini cubes. Tons of options...

All I will say from my experiance, large blocks of rockwool suck because a) u can't water as much b) due to not watering as much ph rises rapidly in cubes c) now your in a limbo trying not to overwater but trying to keep cube ph/ec under control. Not fun.
