thanks for the reply none the less. sounds like it would be a good experiment to partially harvest a strong sativa dominant plant 3 times, once at full cloudy, then another at 40-50% amber, then another about 80-90 % amber. this would give the patient the opportunity to find the right spot. maybe a lil less on the last 2, but you get the point. actually i think 70% maybe overripe and some effects may be lost. but i think your right about sativa's helping mental/anxiety issues.I've wondered the same thing about sativas. What the effect is when letting them go to full amber. But from most reports it seems they are considered ripe when its mostly cloudy. but i really don't know the answer to that.
I can say i've had some strains that i didn't know what they were that produced a fine high, and potent at that.... the only report i could really give about a sativa dominant plant was some Jacks Cleaner a friend of mine was lucky to score. It had a very clear high, not dreamy or racy. Just a clean, uplifting high. I don't doubt that alot of sativas would beat out indicas for their anti-anxiety properties. But like i said. I'm no expert and i'm sure strains vary for people with mental issues for the most part.
Maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject will pop in.
oh, i think i have read Northern Lights helps with anxiety, and PTSD type symptons. but i have read it is a couchlock too.
