Need help with LED build

My light is not turning on and I'm pretty damn frustrated. Using a non contact voltage tester I was able to determine that power is properly flowing into the driver, however Im not picking up any power coming out of the driver. Is it a defective driver?

Driver is a meanwell HLG-240H-C700B. Any ideas what can be wrong?

This is the power supply I am using. This shouldn't be an issue, should it?

Check that they are wired up correctly in series (which you probably have done a hundred times already)

What cxb3590s? 36V or 72V?

The specification for the HLG-240H-C700B driver lists the constant current region as being between 178V and 357V - so 4x 36V cobs would be below this range (but the report for this driver lists the constant current region going down to 68V with 230V ac input: http://www.meanwell.com/webapp/prod...g-240h-c&pdf=SExHLTI0MEgtQzcwMC1ycHQucGRm&a=2 )

I'm running the 72v COBs... at least that's what I ordered. It doesn't specifically say 72v on the COBs. Is there a way to make sure they didn't accidentally send me the 36v by mistake?

The B driver supports dimming via a potentiometer. Did you install one and which way is it turned?

If you haven't connected one, and the wires aren't connected, (or is it the wires are shorted together, I forget) that could be the issue (dimmed to 0%).

Power going into the driver is probably 110v AC and the output of the driver is DC have you connected a multimeter to it and see if there is voltage? Multimeters are $5 at harbor freight if you dont have one its going to be really hard to find the issue

Thanks for the help guys. Just got home from work and played with it a little. I found the issue. I went back and checked all of the connections and I think one of the wires going into one of the ideal cob holders wasn't pressed in quite far enough. Had to strip the wire a little more.

Got it up and running 8)
