Ive used two 9" round UFO LED lights, and had great results. But they were not mine and had to give them back. After looking around at all the freaking OVER PRICED LED, I went looking for a do it yourself set up and found this setup. You can build it for batteries or direct power. You will have to buy the bulbs for them but thats cheap enough for whats needed. Depending on the sie of your grow room will depend on how many lights you will need of course. Once again, I havent used these, but they look promising.
As far as getting what you pay for??? Your only paying for fancing housing for the lights. not the lights themselves as you can see when you do a search for the bulbs you will need. When I used the two UFO's and a 2' 1/2 x4' High OP Floresent mixed w/ orange & white, w/ Technaflora Recipe for Sucess was the best light mix Ive messed with when growing hydro. I maybe way off from what the pro's say (Im not sure since Im a newbe) But I had an increase in weight by up to 4oz on most of the plants.
