Hey all
I have been inspired to get a grow going again. I just have a couple of basic questions.
While getting to speed again and doing my research I cannot find the articel I read LOL. Basically this was a basic indoor grow method using CFL lights. In the article the author states that you will get on average about 2OZ dried bud of each plant. I cant remember what sizes etc he stated the growing area had to be. he did state the seed he were using were a short bushy type and not auto flowering.
So heres the first question, I only want to grow 3-4 plants and harvest between 3-6OZ in dry weight - what space do you need for this ideally? and I assume this is a credible dry weight estimation?
The second question is, My oringal plan was to build a few stelth computer case grow rooms - would use a cage inside and encourage the plant to grow like ivy, how much average yeild in dried weight would a computer case grow room produce with 1-2 plants(I have a feeling maybe around the half OZ mark) (I was going to set up three/four cases up for a rotational crop, the idea being that once I have harvested and was drying, I should already have or be ready to put my net cycle into the flowering stage.
The third and final question is - I am aware of the controvesty about using LED lights to grow but if I decide to go down this route - would lose of heat be an issue? (I am planning and making my lighting adjustabled so it can be hung closer to the plant - I have read this is better then having a fixed height). My problem is that my apartment is fairly cold most of the time. Would I have to take measures against this or would it be ok in whatever the ambient internal temp of the case is?
If my computer case scheme isnt going to be worth the weight - I will use a different method.
thanks for the help in advance - I have read alot of posts on this forum over the last couple of days.
