Need help with Tea Recipe

Alright so this year is the first year Im going to try a complete 100% Organic grow. I decided to make a tea rather than go out and pay someone to have a pre-made one. But the only problem is that I dont know how much or pretty what to put in it. Ive grown soil/hydro so I know my shit about nutes and plants. But all I need is hlp putting my tea together.

By the way im growing 2 Indicas Outdoors if that may help.

The grow plot has already been composted, I have steer manure, chicken manure, worm castings, rabbit manure, various green plant material all tilled togther, and has been aeriated with sand and perlite.

Once again first year organic and saddly first time outdoor, so does that soil sound alright to use this season


Now for the tea Recipe.

Things I have to use for Tea:

1. Alaskan Fish Fert. Liq.
2. Worm Castings Dry
3. Seaweed/Kelp Extract Liq.
4. Chicken Manure
5. Steer Manure
6. Fish Bone Meal 3-18-0
7. Bat Guano 10-3-1
8. Black Strap Molasass

So my question is what should I use of what I have above, or is there anything I should add. I want to kick all chemical nuterients asses, I cant stand them anymore, I love the results but I hate the damn taste. Im using a 5 gallon bucket with a air pump. So please anything to make my girls huge!

Its my first with Barney Farm Seeds, and LSD and Vanilla sound bomb. Also if you have grown these strains before, please throw in your 2 cents.

I'm not familiar with brewin with chicken or cow manure. i always avoided em cuz they burn so hot.
I'd go with 1 cup wormcastings, 1 tsp seaweed, 1 tbsp of molasses, with a tsp each of the fish bonemeal and the alaskan fish PER gallon. bubble for 24-36 hours & dilute 100% with non-chlorintaed water.

Any others? I like to see multiple view points! I can also buy more if needed to improve. I want the best organic has to offer.

Sounds like your soil might be pretty hot to begin with. You might not need to add much at all in the way of additionals but when you do I'd suggest keep it simple at first. During veg I might use just a few feedings of fish ferts, kelp extract and maybe some of that guano and molasses. tbsp per gallon each. I'd really watch the plants and if you are seeing vibrant growth don't hit them with too much stuff. You can't flush organics in dirt as easy as chemical hydro if you over fertilize and outdoors this problem can become even harder to deal with.

I'd save the powders for amending your soil rather than teas except for the guano which works just great in both. If you can get some hands on the 0 nitrogen guano it is excellent during flowering.

You did not metion adding anything to the soil to buffer PH. That may be something to consider as well.

Oh sorry im not going to water with tea very much durring veg, maybe once every 3rd or 4th water. I know it sounds like a really hot soil but its been tilled in with a lot of clay/ sand soil. So now its very loose and airy. For the ph buffer, im using dolomite and oyster shells. But I can only find the bat guano I need online, I rather just go to the store and buy it, its a lot faster. But I was just going to replace it with the Fish Bone Meal, its 3-18-0, thats pretty high phoporous

Sounds like you are all set.. Good luck with the grow. Growing outdoors is a blast.

Alaskan fish fertalizer (im assuming all purpose, 5-1-1) 25 ML per gallon.
Seaweed/Kelp Extract 10 ML per gallon.
Bat Guano 10 ML per gallon.
Fish Bone Meal 20 ML per gallon.
Black Strap Mollasis 30 ML per gallon.

the finaly product should be around 15/20/10 n/p/k . add more AFF duering veg and more Fish bone meal duering flowering. allways add the black strap mollassis as it add's needed iron and potasium to the mix.

if you pre-made your soil with the bat guano, worm castings and steer manure you should be good for most of the way through veg. just remember to listen to what the plants are telling you, watch their leaves (new and old) and see what they have to tell you, if the plant needs Nitro give it nitro. if it needs potash give it potash. the best thing you can do is "talk to your plants", when you know enough they will start to speak back

Alright so I have added 2 more things to my list of ingredents:

Peruvian Sea Bird Guano
Jamaican Bat Guano

So would this help my exsiting recipe PER GALLON: For Flowering by the way! I dont need a veg tea really, my soil should cover it.
1 cup Worm Casting
1 tsp Fish Fert. 5-1-1
1 tsp Seaweed Extract
1 tsp Fish Bone Meal
1 Tbsp Blackstrap Molasses


So my question is, how much Peruvain and Jamaican Guano should I add to my tea? And I have no idea how I got my text size big on quick reply.... Any advice will help, my first time organic grow, and its a little confusing to get everything together

hi to all just a quick question i have a outdoor plant currently feeding botanicare 3-1-2 grow at 15ml/gallon water 8 gallons every four days. i am having a problem. i think its nitrogen deficiency so i bought some bat guano 10-3-1. my question is how do i administer ot to my plant for fast results?

can i ask what teh nutrient content of the guano is? guano's range drastically. (like N/P/K)

add 1 TBSP (15 ML) of guano. so 1/2 TBSP (7.5 ML) of each of the guanos. i will be able to give you an exact measure when i get the N/P/K of the nutes.

you might want to dilute it to 50% for the first watering just to allow the plants to adjust, seeing as they are in rich soil.

You are in the wrong section with this question ( right in the middle of a tea thread ) But thats ok this time. If ya want fast results mix some in water and folier feed but if I were you I would just add 1 tblspoon in a gallon of water and water it in. How old are your plants? Why do you think its N def?

alfafa meal is a great way to get some crazy microb. life going in your soil and its cheap like 4 buck for a box that will last all year.

Sorry I was I the wrong forum but I posted in outdoor growing and in plant problems and I got no reply from either forum. Well I mixed 3 tbls into a gallon of water kept it warm all nightand I am planning on feeding 2 cups of this bat guano in with my normal feeding. If I'm doing something wrong please stop me now as I am desperate and don't want to see my plant dieI planted them from clones around the last week of march. Saliva strain. poop is poop. When I walk the shelves, the first thing I look for is the NPK. X-0-0 during veg, then 0-X-X during flower. The second thing I pay attention to is the form the fertilizer comes in. It pretty much comes down to rocks, powders, goos, and liquids. If I want slow delivery I go with rock or powder form, if I want quick delivery I go with goos and liquids.
