Hey all! Im Nic. This is a first time growing OP for me and a couple of my friends. We have been doing a lot of research and trying to nail it so we can get a nice harvest in. I just wanted to get some advice as well as opinions first (if you don't mind 
). We found this nice area in an attic where we put plywood down as floor boards. This area is right next to a window where i intend to set up some piping with a fan attached to it to pump the air out of the room, there is a window on the far side of the room to replace the air. One of my many concerns is that the air quality will be horrible because of the large amount of insulation everywhere. I'm not worried about the temp and humidity but i'm worried that the fiber glass particles might inhibit the growth of our plants. Suggestions? Also we managed to hang up a couple of cool white 2-bulb fluorescent fixtures, but we are unsure about how high to hang them, we have chains so we can adjust the height, we were just wondering if you put the light farther away when they are seedings but put it closer when they are vegging? I also have a couple of oscillating fans set up to replicate natural wind. I also plan on putting some reflective insulation (sold at home depot:http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1v/R-203536785/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&keyword=reflective+insulation&storeId=10051) here and there to reflect some light. We were all wondering also on how far the smell will travel? Last note, we also would like some suggestions on soil mixtures and nutrients used by good growers for healthy plants.
