Need help with ventilation setup

Frist time poster here.
Setting up a 3x5x7 room with a 1K MH/HPS.
Going to be using 4" duct with a 265 cfm fan(s) and a carbon filter.
I would like to vent the light hood as well.
My question is; Does someone have a good ventilation diagram with the use of carbon filters, hood ducting and how its all set up? Does the hood duct connect with same duct as the carbon filter? If so where? How many fans are needed? One for each or can they be shared? Is back flow a problem if ducting is shared? Plus the 4" carbon filter I'm looking at says it can handle 200 cfm but my eco fan is rated at 265 cfm. Will this be a problem?

if your hood is of the glass sheeting variety,you can buy high temp sealant ,make it air tight,pop ure filter on one end and sucking air in the filter through the hood over your bulb and out,viola!

I think I'll be traveling about 30-40ft to the out side. Will one Eco Plus 4" 265 cfm fan loose alot of power over that distance? And what about the 200 cfm carbon filter? I'm guessing I can use a veriable speed controler on the fan? In your opinion, will this be enough for a 1K setup in a 88 sq/ft room?

not familiar with that fan,i use system air fans,ure extraction needed sounds ok though for that size ,you won't lose to much suction ,try and keep the vent hose straight as possible though , what lights u running? ,that could be a factor too.

the 465cfm eco fan is only like 20 bucks more than the 265, and you can build your own scrubber for way less than the one your looking at, which would leave room to expand your grow should you ever choose too and if you plan on it getting the bigger fan and making your own large scrubber would be the best bet. but if you cant and you use the set up your talking about, you should be fine. the 200 cfm rating for the scrubber is only to tell you what optimum rate that air flows through it. it will cause some back pressure on the fan but the fan should handle it fine.

You need at least 6" ducting with your fan specs (to much static for 4")
Also, your 4" carbon filter will fail (un-cleaned air will pass through the carbon filter). You will need a 6" carbon filter
