Need help with wiring a strip lights...

So i have everything built...just no idea how to wire it correctly. Any help would be appreciated. I have 2 Meanwell xlg-240-h-a drivers with 16 Samsung strips. 8 per driver.

Because I'm in the early stages of investigation of alternate to HID lighting, I'll ask you... what is the factor that determines whether panels are wired in series or parallel? Is it simply a constant voltage vs constant current thing, or is there more behind that?

Looks like you need to connect 2 strips together by a wire from one pos to the others neg to double the voltage(green) and then parallel wire each set of 2 strips together by their remaining positive of one and neg of the other.

You seem to have forgotten the 2nd set of "jumper wires" so the strips are connected 2 in series and 4 paralleled.
I do not know if that is the correct wiring for your strips and drivers...just something I noticed that may help when only 4 light. ;P
Also maybe give more details on strips and drivers model numbers.

Since there is 2 drivers for 16 strips then joining 8 strips can be done many ways...hope this helps some.

Outside power lines could also go down the center too...just make sure to match the polarity correctly.
So if driver outputs 48 volts then adding 2 strips in series is needed if strips are 24 volts each.

Correct.this driver though as my pic show, can be set from 2200-6600mA so turn it to about half at first then crank it up.

@Rocket Soul can you explain what the difference is for constant current range and the current adjustment range? Why's one 2200-6660 & the other 4280-6660?
