Need help!

I have 38 plants in a ebb and flow under one 1000 watt hps on a light rail. Using Hydro Organic nutes.

I am in week two of flowerring. My EC continues to rise! I was at 1.3 ish yesterday and today I'm over 1.4! s

Is it normal for some strains to have a diet like this?

is this a measurement taken after topping up the water level? Because if it's a small res with lots of plants then they should be drinking a lot, although the ppm should technically remain stable... this is the standard blurb people throw arround;
1.Water level drops PPM goes up: Drop your nutrient strength in relationship to the PPM rise.
2. Water level drops PPM stays the same: You may be able to fine tune you nutrient strength, if growth is vigorous leave it alone.
3. Water level drops PPM drops: Raise you nutrient strength in relationship too PPM drop.

I know i have to add water. I was more interested in wondering if this is normal? I see almost every other strain out there take in a lot more nutrients.

sorry. is the ec drifting up on its own? or are you saying you're adding nutes to see how far up it can go?

The EC is drifting up on its own. I started my flowering at 1.6 EC and got nute burn. I lowered it gradually and I'm down to 1.3 now. I guess I'm just waiting to see when they take in more nutes to raise my EC?
