I have some beans planted and one has the first set of leaves showing and is about 2 and a half inches tall. should I start feeding it nutes. I'm using floranova nutes. It says 1/4 teaspoon a gallon for seedlings. Reason for asking is some people say not to start feeding nutes until the second set of leaves start showing. Just need some advise. THANKS. Also I'm using a drip system for my veg, how long should I drip the nutes to the roots.LOL (that rymed) at a time, and how often.

No need to just yet, the genetics in the seed stores enough to get em started, you can wait til they get a few leaf sets. Let the roots spread out 1st.

I'm going to start my nutes tonight for my first grow. A good rule of thumb I've seen people use is to start when the coty leaf (the little round ones that first sprout) turn yellow. This means that the genetics the sprout is born with are starting to die off. Some people even wait until those little leaves are dead completely.
