need help!

ok so i am starting a grow in a panasonic speaker box its all stripped internally except the spaker, i bought a power surge, and 3 cfl lights that are 150w replacement, but uses onl 42w, they have buult in ballasts, i also bought a camping blanket for the reflector, my only problem is the power surge wont fit up top i can only place it on the side, will that be good enough and should i use all 3 lights or just 1 or 2? im gonna start in a couple days and dneed help

Im finishing up my first grow...I used 3 68W and 2 42W CFLs and it worked just fine. Honestly youre gonna need more room to grow though, mine is in a 3x3x3 foot area in my closet.

this is about the same size as a cpu so i will be fine im not gonna grow a huge plant just a small one but it can be bushy bc of how fat the speaker is

Ok coolio. I would try to route all wiring outside your box, just as a safety safe

you can mount them horizontal like they would be on a wall at the top the the speaker instead of dropping them in from the top this may save space and you can still get all three in. I would paint the inside white pure offshell or eggshell or w/e this will save space with not having a blanket in...same reflective in a small area.. use the top then to vent naturally heat rises. bottom right or left for intake and a cpu fan easy peasy. Did one of these in college made some great auto short rider danks could get three in flowering at 70 days each... the box was for 15" pioneer
