NEED HELP!!

Hey everyone

I'm hoping to get some input here. I currently have two plants going in a small closet grow. One is Berry Ryder Automatic, the other is Ultra Lemon Haze Auto. Both seeds were planted November 18th, and are looking fairly healthy.

Currently running lights 20/4 with a 900w Apollo horticulture LED. room temp 79-84 with humidity between 45-60%

Watering once a day with a low ppm solution (Lucas formula, flora micro/bloom 2:1)

My question is..when will these plants Start to show pre flowers? I dont see any yet, and im wondering what is going on. from what I am reading on the web, it seems these two strains have a history of needing to be induced into 12/12 light schedule to trigger flowering. Can anyone confirm or give some insight on this?

If I do switch to 12/12, should I consider these photo period plants even though they're labeled as autos? Do I need to watch out for light leaks?

The bigger plant is the berry Ryder in the pics

Any input would be appreciated..thanks everyone!

been almost a week have you figured out anything yet cause you haven't gotten an answer here i'm just curious ..As far as light leaks I would prevent them and if you gotta flip lights to 12/12 that's a photo to me I don't care what its labeled but that's just my opinion …..I have heard some autos have to be on 12/12 to pre flower just seemed kinda messed up to me like its more of a photo than a auto but again just my opinion

I'm on my 2nd Berry Ryder grow and both times the females started to flower at about 6 weeks out under 600w led and an 18/6 light cycle.
None of my plants have had to be "induced" to flower.
The BR says its an 8 week strain, but in reality it's a 10 to 12 week strain.
I think all weed plants need a break so I do 18/6, or at most 20/4. I saw no advantage trying 24/0.

I'd say if you have room, swap them to 18/6 for a week or so and see if that is enough dark time to trigger the hormone change to flowering. If not, go to 14/10 or 12/12 and see what they do. Whether they are photos or autos, they still gotta flower and it isn't that much different other then switching the lights.

At 20/4 those specific genetics might not be getting enough dark time to cause the correct hormones to develop in the plant. The times I've ran autos I used 18/6 and they flowered, but I've only grown a few freebies I had.
