It is at this stage of grow this symptom always shows up for me. (Makes trying to finish longer as it will progress) I’m led. Ffof with added perlite and ewc and dr earth 4-4-4. Top dressed with this 2 weeks ago also. I’ve also been running cal mag as of first sign of this. Always use silica at half strength. (Golden shield). This is my first run I’ve never ever ph’d for soil. Is this my problem. Am I locking something out on myself. This happened my last grow in this recipe even when I was ph’ing it. Here’s pics. I know there is fungus gnats but it’s not but a few. I stepped up my ipm this run. Just trying to finish better looking this time. Thanks again!!

I’ll have to take them off my 4 inch risers but that’s all I got left. I have t been able to crank led sf4000 in that 4x4 since I started. I’m at 70 percent on the dimmer. I noticed if I go higher it starts to tan purple. I’ll try that tommorow. Means I have to clean up little bit of run off every time I water. Right now it’s almost every day and a half.

Yeah, I dunno, I could be wrong. I didn't even ask you how close the light is, but they look light stressed to me. That really just means that you are lacking in one other area needed in order to use all that light. What are your temps and humidity like?

I’m hoping and thinking your right. I enclosed pic of what temp with lights on is. I only let it get to 77 lights off. I dont even wanna show you where lights at because this seems to make sense and I feel dumb now. I’m gonna Have to find a better way to hang light and possibly remove stands. Kinda explains why the little plant in back isnt showing these signs also. My tallest plant is lest than 6 inches away. I shoulda did more home work. I’ll fix tomorrow and update of progress once I know. Thanks

Are you able to spread the poles the lights hang from further apart? That will elevate the light some. Do you happen to have any climbing gear at home?

Or add 2 more rope ratchets to the equation. Remove the light hanging wire, and clip the rope ratchets directly to the corner holes on the board. That will give you more space. At least 6”

not relevant to OP but Ive had to literally tie the light to the frame before in a 6 foot tent just so i could have 11" to the plants. The driver was touching the top mylar so i had to put spacers on top of it to raise the mylar and have two fans up top to stop it from overheating as I was too lazy to move the driver out and add a longer cable.

This is what I’m gonna go with. I’m gonna grab two more rope ratchets today. I took them off risers for now. That gave me four inches for now. I’ll make other adjustments later. Will post pictures tonight. I just checked everything for now. Lights out 9:30. Back on 330

I’m glad you did end that with a
“So I have a convertible tent now due to a small fire” lol

So update. Took risers out from Under pots and wired light up high as I could or felt comfortable with. Left the ratchets for a safety. Shall see if I can keep things looking as they do. Probably gonna modify risers. They are 4 inch. I’m thinking 3/4 inch is all I really need to keep out of runoff

You don't need to be using calmag as that 4-4-4 has plenty of calcium and also the fact you're growing in FFOF which has crab meal and oyster shell to adjust the pH which are both high in calcium. You don't need the silica either.

Never knew. Thanks for the advice. They look as if the leaves are liking the light being higher at the moment. I adjust ph my last couple runs and this is first one I didn’t and I think they grew better this time so that makes sense too.

So update. One plant has no symptoms at all. One is progressing. Other two is beginning to show same thing but no progression. I may have to cull the one if I can’t get it right. I’ve been giving plain old water since we last discussed and lights are up as much as I can get them. Light is only at 75%. I know if I turn up more their stems will go purple and I hate that look.

In the back middle. She seems to be doing the best health wise.

Stopped using cal mag and now all my soil plants have this. It’s not a pest because all other plants are fine. I’m just over soil. Every fricking time. I’m guessing I’ll never make it to finish with these.
