Need immediate help!!!

hoping somebody can help me. I am a newbie grower. done a grow before once in soil mix and they came out ok when it was all said and done. now I'm trying again but with coco this time. but my plants are having no end of problems. they are growing at an extremely slow rate. they are suffering really bad. under a 600w hps for 2 weeks now and they are still tiny plants. still look as if seedlings. they are transferred in big 20 Litre pots but the plants are only just starting their first true leaves and they are very small. by this point in my previous grow the plants were a foot tall with several branches and leaves doing superb. but now I just see not even a cm of growth each day. I've tried feeding a little nutrient solution in small doses but the plants seem to react bad to them and are slowly suffering from nitrogen deficiency I believe so I've since flushed them out hoping that they recover. i'm keeping the humidity around 50% and the temp around 26-27C. but something is definitely wrong. they are very unhappy and I need advise on what to do here. because they have been brought up from seedling for 4 weeks under a weaker light then transferred under a 600w hps for a further 2 weeks and there is barely any difference. the plants look a week old and they are struggling to grow more and more as the days go on. can somebody please give me some advice? hmm we can throw some ideas out there...
Is your Coco "cleaned"? Natural coco contains quite a lot of nutes, some products are added with nutes.

Are you using Only coco as you would have soil? Cus i'm pretty shure u can't do that without putting my head on the block... It simply doesnt retain water that well. I use coco hydroponically with Leca... (Clay pebbles)

Also you temp seem slightly high to me in combination with a small underdeveloped plant and 600w... It might be struggling to suck up the water from a combination of underdeveloped roots, heat and light (and perhaps the coco's lower water retainability)

Im using the canna pro coco mix. and i've mixed it in with some perlite for that reason. but the plants are very poor. they need serious assistance. something is clearly wrong but I can not find the source of the problem

Ye thats washed and should pose no problems. I'm no soil grower so as for the blend you are referring to, i have no idea if its any good.

Anyways still think u could bare to loose 5degrees c of that temp not that thats the solution hehe

Well thanks for the help anyway. but there is another underline problem here. I will keep the fan running and drop the temp then but will also make the humidity drop. the plants do get cold in the room when the light isn't on so i transfer them elsewhere in the house for the dark period. everything seemed to go ok during the seedling process but as soon as the plants start their first true leaves then it like halts. they grow extremely slow. i've never seen anything like it. 2 weeks and they have only grew like an inch under a 600w hps. not sure what to do but I hope to get help fast

Ye crossing my fingers here to advantage, depending how big they are, when i "hospitalize" young plants i tend to try to encase them in a mini glass-outhouse (see thru plastic container lids or simply making a rack for the plants you can pull plastic over. Keeps the humidity high, helps the plant get the water it needs.

Coco should actually give you faster growth once it's dialed. Without any other info or pics, I'm gonna say possibly overwatering would be the easiest to fix. Your ph should be 5.8 for soil -less which is what you are growing in. Also coco needs cal-mag so if your ferts don't have it, and even if they do, you'll need to use cal-mag on the plain water days. Not knowing how big they are, you could have put them into a container that is too big for their size, so would mean a tendency for too much water, relative to plant size. If it is too much water, really watch the plant, it should droop from too much water, then slowly over the days perk up, then start to droop again when it dries out.

this is not an over watering issue trust me. if you seen the plants you would know something is wrong. they are 6 weeks into their cycle from seed now and they look just over a week old. they are really suffering for some reason. ill try and get some pictures uploaded. but I really don't know what the issue is here. since ive started ive only had 1 that was over watered and drooping down as a seedling. I just let it dry out and it was fine again after 5 days or so. but this is a serious problem right here and I cant find anyone that is having a similar problem to me. i mean the fan leaves are literately like an inch big. they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind schedule.

if you're not adding cal-mag, it could be a big issue that just gets worse. they would be stunted amongst other things.

Not to be a dick but if your a new grower and your first run with soil didn't come out great then what gave you the idea that you could successfully pull of a soiless grow. Go back to a good soil. Dump the bucket out gently rinse the cocoa off the roots and put it in soil gently, or start all over.

My first run with soil was decent. got about 2 oz per plant or so. but this one ive had issues with. just wanted to get bigger plants and ran into more problems. gave them a shot of nutes and will keep a close eye on them. but no I am not adding cal-mag to my water but I thought that would be ok if my PH levels are correct. they shouldnt be suffering this much but I will order a cal-mag solution online just to be sure. thanks for the tip. I'll keep posting as the progress continues but so far it's not looking good. i have some further seedlings coming along and they are doing just fine right now but are only a week old. and just on water right now. but that doesn't matter unless I can find a way of solving my issues.

i completly agree cpappa27, put those babies in some happy frog when the root come out bottom of cup transplant into ocean forest

You do realise with coco you need to feed them hydro nutes from the very start every watering, i dont think you fed them at all no wonder they are not growing. Putting them under a600w and re potting has only stressed the plants more. You may have to start again as they could be fucked by the sound of it. Next time start with the small light, use coco designed for dope growing and quality hydro nutes , here are some eg and what i use.

cheers for the advice buds. btw chopper is a quality film! xD i did actually not realise that i was supposed to feed with every watering. ive been doing water, nutes, nothing. then repeating. the plants are stressed yes and i may have to start again. i am using the same coco as you but using the foxfarm brand of nutrients. Shall i feed them every day with every watering then? bare in mind that i do have perlite mixed in with the coco to retain some of the water. Thank you for the help anyway. I appreciate it

Thanks for all your help anyway guys. figured it out since then. it was indeed because I was treating the coco like soil. watering, feeding then a day of nothing. since then I have been feeding once per day and the plants have responded accordingly. Just about managed to save them and they are slowly getting back on track now. Thanks everyone

Well I like trying new methods to improve my yield and researching it ended up with 10 oz on 3 plants after dried and cured. so considering it was my 2nd grow. pretty good i reckon

your temp is too warm at 27C which is about 87F. too warm. 21C would be better, which is about 74F
