need more branch

my plants are about 1.2months old right now and was wondering how to get more branches on the plant so i can clone to see if they are male or female..right now its just a stock and stem and leaves...i really dont wanna top the plant do the extra branches just come with time? or how else can i do this

lol u should have some side branches at1.2 moths old

if u want more tops then yes u have to top it if its not producing any

honestly it looks a little imature to be taking cutting off..

what types of lights are u using?

i want to clone to plants to put the clones into flowering to see what sex they are..i dont want to 12/12 it and then back to 18/6 cause it takes them awhile to actuall get back into the veg mode i have 6FL cool white, daylight, warm white..these are just lights i had at my house..the hps is on order now

you need more light! i have one @ same age, 3-5 inches taller and has side growth just about ready to clone. you need atleast 100w actual cfls to get good veg if thats what your using

Wait until you have had it under the hps for a while. You'll see it take of and grow for real then, and it won't take long before you'll be able to take plenty of clones off it.

But don't try to do it now, it's not big enough. Your lights must be really shitty for her to still be this small after all this time.

yea man just get some lbetter lighting and then if u want a decent amout of branches after you figure out the sex you can super crop it an u will def have more branches to take clones good luck
