Need of legal advice

Got myself into a bit of trouble ... Please don't judge me on my bad behavior, I'm full aware of my actions and the hurt I've inflicted. Long story short, my wife found out I had a little side affair, and I had to come clean. Unfortunately it turns out that my side story was completely crazy. I showed her my plants once (so stupid, I know) and it was mentioned in a couple of text messages that she kept. She is now threatening to send the cops over. I killed off the plants and moved all the equipment. Does she have any legal ground on just the few texts and her confession?

i doubt it. if cops come knocking they won't find any evidence.

If you got rid of it all then the cops come and arrest you... the prosecutors say what evidence do you have? The cops would say a text message from his wife he just cheated on. Lol.

What up Cole? Thank you also for your input. I know it seems a little over the top, but it makes me paranoid. And it's 'the girlfriend' who has the texts, and there's not really much of them either. Plus the cops couldn't come in without a warrant, right? And to get that they would have to have some sort of evidence more than a text

It was his "Side thing" that is threatening to go to the cops. Honestly id get a divorce lawyer regardless if you two stay together or not and see what he tells you, it will cost you a bit for a meeting or two but the advice he can give you will help you in the long run and is more credible than anything anyone here can give you.

No weed, no evidence, no problem. Now you know the true evil of bitches, hope you learned your lesson.
