need opinions new to the site

so this is my first post and have finally joined the site after years of reading, this is not my first grow i have worked with soil indoors and out and done guerilla, but recently i had to get rid of my lights a 250 metal halide, 90 w ufo, and 1000 hps, i am now getting a new hps with a cool tube but have encountered a dangerous delimma... my house has no studs in the closet to hang a light from safely i have used pencils punched through the wall with fishing line attached to a washer but i would like to find a better method if any of the pro's could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated and definatly not critisized, so far im thinking of installing a wooden dowel going from one side of the wall to the other. and has anyone ever had a light blow up or catch fire from falling and hitting the ground? would love to hear any input and storys..... jah bless

Get some drywall anchor bolts?

It says right on the package how much weight they will handle.

put a piece of 3/4 plywood or a 2x6 across the whole distance of the closet. either the width or the length and then put a cieling hook in that. if the drywall is nailed up to the cieling then there has to be something in there to screw to guarranteed.

anchor points are in the corners for sure so just go from corner to corner with a solid piece of wood

forsure i wish i had kept a library of all my grows you would have some nice stuff to look at im starting my grow in febuary when i get out of probationary drug classes so ill post up gona try out the fox farm ocean forest with mollasses and either gh or fox farm nutes half strength... i really appreciate the help and dont mind spreading my knowledge as well all i got to post is some bagseed ive already cured but ill post some bud shots and pics from the harvest soon it was a nice little outdoor grow in mg soil with limited ferts but a stout indica forsure only 2 and a half feet and yielded a little over 2 o's dry uncured minus whatever the damn pool guy ripped when he took two branches but whatever shit happens
