i have read MANY places and i hear.
"You can't use a standard high pressure sodium bulb in a metal halide fixture, but you can use a metal halide bulb in a high pressure sodium fixture of the same wattage. IS THIS TRUE?????????

I dont think it is unless its convertion system..I doubt tho becuase it would be a strong detail about your system just as coman knowledge about your systems wattage. keep it safe..

Some grow lights can take both mh and hps . thou all them do not take both you need to make sure you have a converter set up 1st that will take both types of bulb ...

if not you will keep blowing out the bulbs its not so much dangers you will just blow the bulb

so purplehaze. you have used a standard mh bulb of the same wattage in a hps system??????????????? thats NOT a converter bulb??????????????
