need reassurance that i did right

for the last few days my plant has looked droopy. so i think i figured out what was wrong with my plant. i was checkin the ph every day and when i would probe different sides of the pot i would get way different readings. i finally figured out that when i was probing the root ball from the soda bottle i used earlier in the grow it is now in a 2 gallon square pot the ph was like 5.1 when i would probe the new soil the dirt was 6.7 to 6.8 so i decided to transplant and hope for the best. i took her out side and rinsed her root ball off. when i got all the new soil from around the soda bottle rootball i found that it was hard as concrette so i rinsed it out as best as i could and put her back in her pot and put good soil back in her and am hopin 4 the best. has anyone ever seen a problem like this before or did i just kill my plant??

Droopy usually means over or under watered. Not quite sure I understand your post if full, but if your rootball was as hard as concrete (rootbound I assume) it would be underwatered. And you don't need to worry about checking soil pH every day. Once a week would be fine, if that often.

ok if you will check the last few pages of my grow located in my sig you can see what im talkin about. i didnt take pics of the rootball cuz i was trying to be careful as i could with the roots.
to bring you up to speed on my question i started my grow in 2 liter soda bottles after a few weeks i transplanted the root ball looked great. i put her in a 2 gallon tub. she did fine it for about a week and a half then started going south. so i got anal about the ph because i havent given her any nutes in the last two waterings. as i would probe the soil i would get way different readings and noticed it was hard to push the probe in the center of the pot where the old soda bottle root ball was located. when i did probe this secton of the roots i got low 5's on my meter but the outside area around the soda bottle root ball was read mid to high 6's. the first original soil in the soda bottles was a mix of mg organic, vermiculite, and pelrite. the new soil is spaghnum peat moss and topsoil. the mg mix is what was hard as a fucking brick. i swear i will never use that shit again!!! i hope i have explained what my problem is and you can help me out a lil here. if there is anything else you need to know to help please ask. and thanks for the help

You should transplant before it becomes so dense. not only does it make pockets where the ph changes, the roots suffocate, unused salts build up, and can really stunt you plant. you should be flushing every week or 2 just to be safe, i flush mine every week

If there is resistence with the pH probe it sounds like it got a littlle rootbound in the soda bottle to me. I'd repot in peat and compost, as opposed to topsoil. Ditch the vermiculite, and use a good scoop of perlite. When you squeeze a good handful of wet soil, you want it to crumble apart upon release. Maybe I'm still totally missing something, but I think your problem is in the soil mix. Topsoil is pretty chunky with woodchips and whatnot anyway. I wish I could help more but I'm pretty fried right now. Maybe I'm just rambling, I dunno.

I don't see why not. They don't call it weed for nothing. Just like any lady. Give her all your heart, time,(and sometimes money lol) and she'll do you right.
