Need some advice for second grow

So im starting up my second grow DWC and I just germinated a fem super silver Difem seed I got for free with my order of Vanilla Kush and LSD from the attitude. I bought a cloner with a dome and a heating pad, and some rock wool cubes that are already soaking.

Any way, for my last grow I used a 400 watt HM bulb that I ran 24hrs a day, which raised my bill a bit higher then I expected, so I wanted to know what other lights are out there that I could use to veg 2-3 plants, but wont be as costly and if possible yeild nice under a 400 watt HPS for flowering.

I was also considering the UFO 90 watt grow light I saw at my local hydro store, but after reading tons of terrible reviews on Led lighting I wasnt sure if I really wanted to risk wasting the money.

also a worker there told me to try out a 2' t5 florescent bulb with wall fixture for around 30 bucks, but it really didn't look like enough to veg 2-3 plant, probably not even one.

Anyway.
Thanks for any replies.

T5 fluorescents are your best bet. They come indifferent sizes.

t5's are great for veg LED works good too, but they are expensive. best bet is go with the T5 in the correct size for your plants man

Good choice, might as well pay the extra for 4000 extra lumens. The second one, i would assume that the bulbs are a little more expensive than the t5s.

I am looking at 2ft 4 bulb htg on ebay also for my veg cabs clone area. Was gonna order it tonight, but my card is 5 clams short, gotta go load it back up in the morn. ;]

Thx for all the responses.
I'm really indecisive about weather to get the 2 of my first choice or 1 of my third choice.
I wanna keep around 2 mother plants (around 2ft + 1/2ft) and some clones in the same area, and idk if my third choice will give enough sunlight to my clones and seedlings.
So does anyone think a 100 watt 4 bulb 2ft T5 lamp could keep some clones and seedlings healthy from 1 ft or 1ft &a 12'' away?

I was also wondering if anyone had any suggestion on using the rock wool, its my first time and I've read it easy to over water those things. My Difem Super Silver haze seed cracked this morning, and my rock wool's been soaking in ph 6.0 water for the last 24 hours. All I need are my T5 lights and to build my 10 gal DWC setup.

Why are your rock wool cubes soaking in a ph of 6.0?

My local hydro store owner is the one that actually told me to soak it over night in a ph of 6.0 water.

Anyways
I already put my seed Super Silver into my rock wool and set up in a cloning dome under a 24 watt cfl. I decided to get
http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-HTG...-Output-T5.asp
so im really hopping it gets here before she sprouts.

Thanks for all the help and responses.

it helps to PH the blocks and keep it stable for when you put plants in

Hey guys, thx again for all the help.
My seedlings seems to be doing fine, still hoping she doesn't sprout before my lamp comes.
Anyway
I have another issue in my garden, one of my girls in flowering, 11 days now, has a couple of possible colas not getting any light
And I've also read that cutting colas that wont produce much increases growth for other buds
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could trim my girl and not hurt her to bad ?
