Need some advice on flushing?

Then how would you possibly know whether his buds are of superior taste and smoke? That plant sure looks nice but there are many steps left to final product, and a lot of fucking up for him to do.

You show me someone else who can grow a proper sativa like that and I'll probably give some serious thought/trial and effort to their methods, but that sativa is thick bud from top to bottom, so I'm gonna stay in the "School of Ben" cos you don't learn to grow a plant like that without a shitload of experience.

You guys are really grasping at straws. Ok here's the serious question...why is it only ever newer growers/growers who learn to grow from cannabis books/websites who flush?

How come our grandparents, parents, etc never flushed in their greenhouses?

I don't usually do the whole "pics or it didn't happen" thing, but here, AK48, they were under a 400w HPS but I upgraded week 3 or 4 to a 600w. They had to come down early, Id have given th another week or two.


14 ounces of which 2 had budmold...smoked pure with a white ash with no flush, fed Canna Terra Flores/Veg till harvest.

Of humidity! I could go on but I think you should focus on envronment and
Nutes, more than bugging these fine folks here on riu!

You may feel its a myth but theres no reason to try to make people follow in your methods, you stated your point!
And so have the folks that flush! What more to this is there. This topic will always fester into a cluster f-ck of a thread!

Here's a question: why do you only cite anonymous cannabis growers from the internet as your trusted sources of information? If cannabis is just like any other plant, and you are seeking credibility, wouldn't it be smarter to look and see what Dr. So-and-So from the university is saying on the matter?

Trick question! There aren't any studies being done on this subject. I guess we'll just have to ask people to post pictures of their plants and judge their knowledge from that. After all, growing pot is really really hard so anyone who can grow a huge plant must be a genius!! ;)

I am certainly neutral on this subject as I have my own ways but i am in awe that during this entire process you only show us one shitty pic with the HPS lights on of your grow. Lets see some close ups of your work with proper lighting.

I'm not growing at the minute (we all know how "things" can be sometimes) but aside from that I kinda gave up on taking pics of my plants, it's a bit boring after a while.

I don't see how it makes a difference to this thread tho, my plants are perfectly green till harvest, are totally smooth and extremely potent. I plant a seed, give them plenty of light, air and just enough nutes and then chop them when they're ready.

That's really the secret to growing, not "feel good techniques" like ice water baths and flushing.

Cos some dude was giving it "pics or it didn't happen". I hate posting pics, it's not a dick waving contest, it's about good info being spread in place of dated myths.

herrakin you need to give it up already man. your on every single thread that mentions flushing. i don't understand how you can say your weed that you over fertilize and don't flush tastes better than flushed nuggets that were given plain water for two weeks. you always say you've done comparisons but i don't know how. ive done comparisons more than once with the exact same strain and its obvious as fuck. im not a scientist but that was pretty easy to figure out.
