well i didnt actually look at the picture much before i just read what you said. by the looks of it though that picture looks like potassium or possibly calcium. i use this for my problems its the best guide ive found so far with decent pictures. but for t he yellowing and fan leaves dying about half way into flowering that natural if you read around. anyways id just use this link to indentify problems and figure it out yourself you have access to the plants and can see more then us

well i was looking at the self diagnose ure plant and one of my problems def looks like the calcium def. problem. i am only using flora nova bloom at the moment. one guy said i should switch back to the veg nutes for a week or two? is that a good idea?

Nitrogen is used mainly to create more chlorophyl, 50% of all nitrogen in a plant is in the chloroplast
(the cell which holds the chlorophyl) once you are mid way through flowering, you do not need to keep building
chloroplast structures, so nitrogen is not necessary, and because nitrogen
is a mobile nutrient, it is able to translocate from an abundant area to an area which is lacking.
That is when the fan leaves begin yellowing out, and it is very natural.

Riddle me, why don't you show me which botany/horticulture books you are reading?
My horticulture textbook (The Biology of Horticulture by John E. Preece and Paul E).
explains very clearly the natural process of plants leaching themselves.

where in the hell are you people coming up with the nit problems or humidity and heat. look at the plant its green as hell and the tips of the blades are brown. look at all the damn guides for diagnosing problems and its potassium or calcium which he can figure out cause he can see the plant firsthand.

You PMed me and invited me here seeking advice, and I did read the first two pages and study the pics, and on those first two pages, you did get good advice.

It is commonly accepted and believed, (and believed wrong), that we should use 100% VEG OR GROW nutes in the VEG Cycle and 100% BLOOM or FLOWER Nutes in Flowering Cycle. Some growers do advise to add a slight amount of Cal Mag or Liquid Karma. I own 14 books, and they all say that do not mix the 2 kinds of nutes. And Commonly, all VEG nutes are High Nitrogen, low phospherous, and All Flowering Nutes are High in Phosperous and very low if any Nitrogen. That is commonly accepted and beleived.

And if you get 100 people on this site to look at your plants, 95 OF THEM are going to tell you that THEY LOOK JUST FINE, IT IS JUST WHAT HAPPENS WITH ALL FLOWERING NUTES USED IN 12/12 and IT IS OK, IT IS COMMON AND NATURAL FOR THE PLANTS LOWER 1/3 TO YELLOW AND LOSE THE FAN LEAVES in 12/12.

That is what most growers have been lead to believe and accept. It came about from the people who make nutrients to be able to convince you their nutes are the best and sell you supplements and additives too. Again, 99% of all Flowering nutes do not really have enough N in them to grow and maintain healthy lower leaves. The High Phospherous Flowering nutes concentrate on bud growth.
You can just leave them alone and they will be OK, they really will grow decent buds.....and the lower bottom fan leaves are going to yellow and fall off.

OR

you can lower the Flowering nutes by 25%, lower the ppm, (use 1/4 less nutes) and add a very slight amount, like 1/8 dose of VEG nutes and the additional N will keep your leaves from falling off and you will get some growth in the buds too. You will see a difference in two days.

If you read the last few pages of my tutorial, I am adding 1/8 VEG nutes and the difference is amazing. My bottom 1/4 of each plant is as full a jungle as the top 1/3, maybe even thicker. NO LEAVES FALL OFF. This is my 8th grow and I've never seen anything like it and I owe it to listening to Uncle Ben and testing his theory on just one of my three reservoirs. I also learned that a brand of nutes called ADVANCED NUTRIENTS out of Canada also adds some N to their Flowering Nutes and growers are praising the results.

You DO have the slightest nute burn in your plants, evident in the tips, but it is nothign to worry about, just lower the ppm slightly.
I will not argue this and many will want to argue about it. It does go against the common accepted belief. I hope I helped you.

It is better to try and have a very happy healthy plant, than to only try to have big buds. A very healthy plant will give you big buds.

God bless you and your grow!
