Hi,ok so my plants are 19 days old,for like 9 first days they didnt grow too well because I wasnt giving enough light,in 10 days fixed them up tho.so my question is,as you see im using 5 liters water bottles for pots, how long do you think they will last for me? Roots are comming throu the bottom now,but as I read it seems it dont need to transplant already.Because I would transplant, but those 4-5 gal pots takes soo much space,id rather squeeze out some lumens in smaller pots,so here are pics.

Guys, why my plants are so short,I dont recognize on what set they are because they are short,my guess is my plants are on 2nd set of leaves right? Im gonna top the for scrog.Read you have to do it around 4-5 set of leaves so still waiting..
And few plants are overwatered, leaves droop, after day they get up,another day I spray soil with mist and it got overwatered again, and my soil 2 inches from top is dry,and I have drainage hole and stuff, how long to keep plant without water after overwatering and experiencing drooping?
Thanks thats all I think.

those plants aren't bad for 19 days, a few look pretty good
i can't tell how long the 5 liters will hold you because there are so many growing variables
some have good luck with small pots for a whole grow
i haven't had great luck with small pots so can't give you any pot pointers
keep doing what you're doing, but be ready to transplant at the 1st signs of unhappiness

^ Heh, "pot pointers"

I agree they look pretty good, tight nodes. They might not seem to be growing much since they probably put alot of energy into getting a good root system going. I think you can keep em in there for a week or two longer, a gallon a month seems to be what people generally say is best. If your soil holds alot of water you might not need to water more than once every 4-6 days. a little more water a little less often

Are your plants staying inside or are they going out???I have been told to root bound the ones for my indoor (leave them in the small pots until then)or for put door I never let them get root bound (transplant when roots start coming out bottom). The only thing is you want the roots to dry out between waterings so don't go too big on containers. I like to top mine after ther third set of leaves (or 6 branches if The nodes aren't even ).

Roots coming out the bottom isnt a sign the plant is rootbound but gives an idea. Too fully know just lift it up from medium and if it is fully entagled to the shape of the medium looking as if it could go no where else then u know its rootbound and should be transplanting. Remember the dominant root hwads straight for the bottom of the medium to give structural support for the plant above so roots showing at bottom is sign that the plant has established itself and is now sending secondary roots to fill the medium up. The bottom is almost always certainly where roots head for.

2 nodes is kind of early for topping, i think you can do it but unless you are very pressed for space you might wait until it has 3
but it's been a long time since i've topped and none of my recent grows
so let the riu jury decide

I like short plants and try to keep my canopy as even as posible(growing 4-5 different strains at once) so it does definitely depend alot on the strain too as to when you start training as each one has its own characteristics.
