OK....
i have 2 white widow, 2 cali skunk, and 3 randoms that were sent with the seeds that i purchased...there about 3 weeks into seedlings, i just transplanted from jiffy cubes into pots. im just trying to get a couple of good mothers to clone from. i have 7 plants that are getting the 3 tipped leaves. i have them under a 1000 watt hps about 3.5, 4 ft above them. temp is around 73-78 degrees. sometimes hits 80 but easily fixable. they are on a 18on-6off light period. i have noticed some of the foliage is starting to yellow just a bit.. i havent fertilized at all yet, just using water with a ph of 6-6.5... for the most part 2,3 of them look very healthy, but some others are not as "good" as the others.. my dad has my camera, so i will have pics up as soon as he returns from russia..
please any feedback, good or bad, will probably save my ass..

Also... My soil has a semi high bark content... its about 60% Organic Miracle Grow.. 30% perlite.. and about 10% jiffy mix just for extra dirt content..

once a day... sometimes everyother day.
well before i transplanted i had them all under a t5 which didnt give off any heat whatso ever... i had put the hps light up and it dried out the jiffymixsoil really quick.. keep in mind they were in jiffy cubes not in pots or anything.. so i took out the hps until today when i put all of them into their own seperate pots. with the mixture presented up top..when the jiffy mix was dry i would water. i waited today untill it was almost completely dry and put into their pots and watered completely until i got alittle runoff..

well... its been 3 days, havent waterd... soil is still quite moist. i have a moisture meter, and its more than half way across the green.. im gonna wait the day out and see what i got moisture content wise.. and maybe water tommorow. but they are all doing good, they all have there first true set of leaves.

Water when the top inch of soil is DRY and NOT before. All you have to do is poke your finger in, so no need for the moisture meter for now.

the plants look good man, but very very small for 3 weeks. mine was that size at 4-5 days under cfl's. try putting some up close to the plants and see what happens. g/l

you may have put it under 1000 to soon..
if you got it in big pot it may be just growing roots
back off on water
too much bark in soil

Hey Sensi,

I've seen my seedlings do that also. Usually it occurs around the 3-4 week mark, especially if they have stayed in small containers like peat pellets.

At three weeks they should start to need some nutes. I usually give them a very mild dose (150-200ppm range) of a grow nute when I do the my first transplant, unless my soil has been augmented with nutes.

Gotta go....a vaporizer is calling my name bongsmilie

yep, im at the 3 and a half week mark.. yeah their roots are outgrowing the jiffy cube i know for sure.. which is why i transplanted, but yeah, im gonna hold off on water for one more day because my soil moisture content is still sorta high.. its been 3 days since i last waterd, so today is day 4, im just gonna keep an eye on em, ill post up a more detailed pic of them without the light on it so you can see color..

all of these were germinated at the same time, have had the same amount of water, have been under the same light, everything has been done together.. so the differences about em, i wish i knew.
