Need some help - Couple problems with AK47 Seedlings

So i started 5 ak's and 3 Power Skunk. Currently they are in my veg room sitting at 83 degrees lights on and around 70 off. Humidity is around 45% on average.

I have 2 ft t5 tubes as well as 4 26 watt cool blue cfls, and 6 warm 26 watt cfls. Now ive noticed that some of the ak's have burnt tips probably because the lights are to close. Pics below are of the AK's.

Another problem i have run into is that the leaves on the AK's are starting to droop. What is this a sign of?

On one of my Power Skunks, the stem has like rotted away and the plant fell over on itself although the plant is still green and creating new leaves. The stem looks like a piece of thread thats how thin it is. Below are pictures of my plants.

The first pic is of my entire setup. The 3 closet to the bottom are my power skunks. They are in the black pots. The 5 behind those are my AK's. You can clearly see in the first pic the leaves drooping.

Thanks for the help guys.

How old are your plants? Do you have a small fan blowing on them? How much water and how frequently?

more or less a week. Yes i have a comp fan blowing on them as well as a circulating fan blowing. I usually water every 2 days and mist everyday

Sounds alittle like you are overwatering...would be my guess.. try every 3-4 days...only when the soil is completely dry
And Ive heard that any nutes before week 3 or 4 is bad o.0

i cant really do anything about the nutes... i mean its in bedded in the soil. So u think the burn is because of my over watering? =( maybe the root accel

Ah..yea... most ppl would recommend soil with no nutes then add them yourself after the 3 weeks or so... but there are plenty of grows that do fine and avoid nute burn from that

And from what I read overwatering is the number 1 mistake new growers make, so odds are maybe =P

if it is nute burn, i think it should eventually subside, give them a good flushing with clean, ph adjusted water and then leave them for a few days before watering again.
Good luck

I'm pretty sure your problem is not light related burn as it's pretty hard to burn leaves with CFLs and T5 tubes unless the leaves are physically making contact with the light. Sounds a lot like over watering to me, you should be looking to water at most twice a week (or as required), the drooping is an indication of this. Try putting a popsicle stick into your soil next time you water, if it comes out dry ever, it's time to water. Keep them lights as close as you can without touch, manage your water a bit, and you'll see those leaves perk up pretty quick.

Happy Growing :blsmoke:

i recently had a similar problem with a couple of seedlings they were bigger than yours i decided to try giving them some nutes at 1/2 strength and they did not take well to it at all.... thought i was gonna lose them but just started feeding them PH'd water and they have perked right back up and look fine now. the drooping however like said before is probably overwatering... the way i know when the plant needs water is by feeling the weight of the pot if its light ill know it needs water (you have to play around abit at first to help determin the weight of water logged soil and dry) because overwatering and underwatering both cause the leaves to droop i find this method easier and after a while you will just know when your plants need water.
