How in the actual hell did you let it get that bad. Got a bad ass set up but clearly have no business farming consumables. Shit happens but this is past happening shits.. this is either lazy, ignorance, arrogance or maybe some mix of the three but you don't have to be a fucking pot snob to know you shouldn't try to save something that's been munched on that bad. Shame on you man.. gotta stay up on your pest management brotha

I kinda got into a mental funk during that crop, didn't really have an interest in it, being summer, wanted to go on vacation and golf, and go to the beach. But yeah I agree it was BAD lol

Pyrethrin I'd an organic pesticide made from a chrysanthemum plant. It's not toxic to animals(except cats) and it breaks down in a just a few hours when exposed to light.

What does organic have to do with anything? Organic doesn't mean it's good. Ricin is made from the Castor Bean plant and is one of the most toxic poisons on the planet even though it's organic.

It's your weed to smoke but I wouldn't use that on cannabis ever.

Half life on soil is almost 13 hours and slightly less in water. That's a little more than a few hours. It's the exposure during application and shortly thereafter.

So what that means is that after 24 hours there is very little left. And if u spray a few days from harvest it's gone.
Even if u spray the day of harvest then by the time the buds are cured its gone.
So yeah, it's fine to use.
And stuff worse than that is on pretty much every vegetable and fruit that you eat.
People get this thing in their head that cannabis is supposed to be totally free of everything. It's an agricultural product so often times that isn't possible. Shit happens. Bugs find their way in through your clothes hair, cracks in the wall, whatever. You can either apply a safe pesticide or trash an entire crop. I choose the former.
I wouldn't spray something like avid on them, but pyrethrin is fine

Anything wet on flower is an invitation to mold. Safe or not as far as human exposure.

After 24 hours there is still 25% remaining.

Another would be the family of nicotinoid insecticides. Might be derived from something natural but I ain’t smokin it

I don't need an education on pyrethrins. I have done more research on insecticides than you'll ever know and not from some marketing literature or cannabis forum. Pyrethrins should not be used indoors. You do not want to be inhaling them. I am also against their outdoor use as they do not discriminate and kill beneficials like bees, and other pollinators as well as predator insects. There are already mites and other insects that have developed a resistance to them due to improper overuse.

Fruits and vegetables are not even similar as you can wash those off with soap and water prior to consuming. I don't understand that flawed argument people always use. They spray it on vegetables so it must be OK. There's a big difference between the fruit of a tomato plant and a flower that's going to be smoked.

Some of us care about the environment and ecosystem we need to survive on this planet. Others don't and will spray anything without a care in the world as to the potential damage it causes.

Enjoy your pyrethrin weed.

Pyrethrins are the ingredient that we put on kids heads for lice and most flea baths.
And no, washing off vegetables does not remove all the pesticides, there are still trace amounts, probably more than trace. When an exterminator bombs your house for bugs guess what they're using? Pyrethrins or worse.
If you choose to be a marijuana puritan then that's your choice. Pyrethrins sprayed on MJ a few days before harvest and then dried and cured for a few weeks isn't gonna be a problem.
As for my room it's in a detached pole barn so I'm not breathing anything in. I'm not reccomending someone release a pyrethrin bomb in an occupied house unless they plan on not being there for awhile.
