Need some help with first indoor grow.

Hi, I just signed up for this site because I have a few questions about my first indoor grow. My seedlings have finally sprouted, the tallest one being about two inches. I sprouted them in a little mini greenhouse type thing, under two florusecent light bulbs but now that they have sprouted I don't know when I should move them under my 400watt MH bulb for the vegetation stage(also have a 400watt HPS bulb for flowering). But my main questions are how far should I keep the bulb above the planet during the vegetative grow and during the flowering stage? An last question, I know i could probably find the answer searching but while im here id figure id ask.. how much darkness should it get during the vegetative stage and the flowering stage? Thanks.

I'd say wait for about 1-2 weeks till you put them under MH, then again you could change lights anytime you want. an easy light test is to lower your lights and put your hand right above the plant ( without touching it, like 2cm) and lower the lights till your hand gets a little to warm. remember if you can tolerate the heat and its comfortable your plants will most likely also.
