I was just wondering. Do any of you indoor growers use the water froma dehu to water your plants? Is there any reason that this would be a bad idea? I don't think it would hurt, but if anyone knows anything about the subject, please share your knowledge. Thanks.

Some believe that if your dehumidifier uses copper coils (as a lot do) you MAY not want to use the water. Since the water is distilled and sitting on them, it will pick some up copper. Apparently that water has also already absorbed too many contaminants from the room itself. Many suggest running this water through a filter first. In my personal opinion (which is experienced, but by no means professional) I WOULD go ahead and use the water. If you do, post back and let me know how it's working!

Peace?
Love?
All the above.

ok thanks, I didn't really consider the copper issues, but it's a valid point. I was thinking, that it might have more oxygen in it, being it was pulled from the air!? just a thought. I think I might pick a plant, and use it on 1 to see what happens, if anything.
