need some info please!

hello im new to this site but my question is i just brought my plants from outside since it is getting colder at night and would not like to take a chance losing my plants i have great airflow the lighting is always an issue i just bought a t12 tube light fixture and picked up 2 grow bulbs the have a purple light to them, temp is good 75-76 degree farenheight, i just topped them as well and i also just had a fungus gnat problem so filled the pots 1 inch with sand , seemed to have slowed right down to maybe 1 or 2 that i can see i noticed i havent been getting much growth to the but they look perfectly healthy except a couple odd leaves wich have a couple holes in them from pests outside, i havent watered them for about 4 days but do you figure my plants will pull through? and start growing lol

Yeah, it all sounds good, except for 4 days no water. Give them a drink and stay on top of it.

yea their looking good so far. In those size pots, I would water them every other day or at least every three days. Have you added any feed yet? If not I would suggest buying some 20-20-20 feed. The first couple times you feed them, dilute the feed down to 50% strength of what the directions tell you too. Then they should be good for the normal strength.

When my plants were vegging I went with a feed cycle like this (and the plants were in 6" pots): Mon. morning = Half-power feed Wed. morning = full-power feed Fri. morning = half-power feed Sun. morning = flush with distilled water Tues. morning starts the cycle over....hope this helps

But every grow setup is different so you still gotta let the plants tell you what to do and when to do it. Good Luck!

i added some slow release food caplets in the soil i also watered them, i will see how there doing on thursday if a little dry i will water them again, i was also wondering how high my flourescent light should be i have it at about 2and a half inches from top the may output of light for each bulb is 3050 so im thinking it should be good , and how is the slow plant food release capsuls ... any good?
