Need some professional advice with a indoor space/lighting/sexing issue

So I have 5 plants that are all currently under the same 250 watt HPS bulb, this in itself is an issue because I know that this light should only support 2-3 full grown plants. The 5 plants were grown from seeds and now they are about to be on week 6 veg, the problem is they aren't reaching a good size because there isn't enough light to share all 5 plants. I am looking urgently for a way to throw out a plant or two, some of them have shown signs of maleness but people are telling me that I can't really know sex until flowering starts. I have 3 plants that I believe are developing early pollen sacs, the one I want to throw out grew the fastest and has multiple nodes filled with small ball looking developments.

This picture is a tad bit older, but new developments are more clear and slightly larger circle shaped and start of nodes. I tried to get a picture but my camera couldn't focus.

I NEED HELP with this decision I am not sure if I should throw some plants out, start flowering early or veg for longer with the low watt problem.

When you camera won't focus try putting your finger beside the thing your trying to take a pic of, It'll help that camera focus.
From this picture its still too early to tell if its a male. Could be but still too early, Ive had female pistils come out of the exact things your looking at so don't got too excited to toss her.
I've never done this (haven't needed to) but, you can take a cutting and put it under 12 on 12 off to get it to tell you the sex. I have heard the quickest easiest way is to just put it in a glass of water with about half the stem in the water.
Try taking on cutting and see if it works. If it doesn't then it doesn't.

Take pics of *all* of your plants, preferably from nodes higher up on the plant. If they've sexed, we'll be able to give solid advice.

EDIT: That pic is focused just fine... just take more of them on all of your plants.

It's strange because i can see white hairs coming out of other plants, they are small but the other plant just has small ball looking shapes. I'm not sure, I have taken clones already do you know if i can use a 12/12 with a fluorescent light for the clones?

You wont know the sex until week 2-3 of flower. I don't care what you have read or what anybody says. That is the only way to tell.

Interesting you say that although that is not fully true ,,, when plants mature in veg they will show there sex some sooner some then other usally 4 - 9 th week from seed
Also males usually show sex first ,, here 7th week veg from seed what is it ???

Ok, i've done quite a bit of looking around and it seems although pre-flower sexing is a good EARLY method of seeing sex it isn't 100%! I don't know what the odds are, but some people say the small ball shapes can pop pistils and eventually be female. Since I had a space issue, I ended up throwing out my tallest plant because it was taking up too much energy and the ODDS were it was going to be male but I guess you can't really know for sure until flowering starts!

It is possible to sex them before flower, but it is not accurate and very difficult to be sure. Just cut a couple of clones to flower from each plant so you don't lose any time in the process.
