I forgot something in my grow room that I need to get out ASAP. Im currently in the dark period of my cycle and I know that if I open the door I will disrupting there sleep. But in order to get this out its gunna take 10-15 minutes which wont be good for the girls. Ive heard that you can use a small green spectrum flash light and it will not hurt your plants. Is this true?

Hahaha no I need to refill my co2 tank before the place closes and its takes a minute to unhook the reg. and take the tank out. But the plants are on week 2 of flowering.

FB- so going in with a green bulb and shutting the door wont be a problem? The reason I dont want to leave the door open is because the sun is in direct angle of my door and even if the door is cracked its BRIGHT

What the hell did you leave in there, your dead girlfriend or something? 15mins seems like a long time. Personally I had to walk into my dark cycle with a big lantern a few different times on my grow and it didn't seem to effect them. I did have 2 of 5 show small hermie signs but I think that was due to excessive heat and prune stress. :joint:

yeah you can use a green light if you need to get the tank out but I wouldnt, you could just wait till tomorrow a loss of co2 on the plants part wont hurt them as much as it would hurt them if they had direct sunlight on them in thier "night" cycle.

i think it would be fine man. block that window best you can, just open up real quick and do what you need to do, try to do it quick too.

but how bad do you need the co2, could it wait untill the morning/light to do it? even tho im saying its no big deal, do you think the 1/100 chance of herimng the plant every minute your in there is worth a little gas?

Thats what I wanted to hear. Just gunna be busy the rest of the week during the daytime hours (which are my girls nightime hours) and was worried I wouldnt make it the shop to fill the CO2.
