need strain that sedates

hey all. i am a medical user, and grower. my card is for anxiety which is no bs. i was wondering if someone could recommend a strain that will knock my dick in the dirt, keep me from running laps around the coffee table. i already know i should late harvest an indica. but i need a strain to anchor me. and up to say like 8$ per feminized seed. the PPP from nirvana caught my green eye???

Sedation requires indica strains. Anxiety and sativa will = disaster. Hope this helps you choose.

well i dont think a disaster. i tend to enjoy a sativa doobie on my way to work. picks me up and makes me feel creative and alert. i was looking fer more of a specific strain thanks anyway

The Snow White by Nirvana is a great yielder and I have not grown it, but it was a great smoke that left me stuck in my chair! Puff, Puff, Pass! protopipe1

i find that power green and blueberry are very sedating, easy to get hold of and i havent come across any problems while growing(only keeping the buds upright)
these plants are quite similar and i find myself coming back to them again and again .The cons are they are the smelliest of strains and no good if you have things to do!!!

hhhmm yea iv had a lb of blueberry b4 and i must say i was quite pleased, except that the buds were to sticky to roll in a joint... but really thats a good thing. do you know where to get feminized blueberry seeds?

bcseedking.com has kush that is said to be medical. he says its an f1 fruity indica with a strong high and a good yeild. my kush from him are 2 1/2 weeks into flower and they are pretty crystaly with somewhat of a sweet smell to them. ive grown his blueberry and i have to say once cured it was a wonderful indica strain. peace.

I have nothing but good things to say about Greenhouse Cheese! Its a real hard hitter that keeps me really calm (comatose)

try anything with the names kush, romulan, hashplant, afghani... at least 75% indica.... those strains should definitely put you on your ass and make you stay there

Greenhouse seeds Big Bang. I harvested 5 plants last month. Very sedative. Puts me to sleep. No paranoia. But while growing please have good odor control..

I got it for a family member, I can see him relax and the tension drain with each puff. Excellent daytime functional high but if you have mania (running around the table) I'm not sure that it would bring you down.

Could you describe the mental/physical state that you want to change in a bit more depth? Anxiety that makes you cringe in the corner, mania that makes you want to put a new roof on the house at 3:00 AM, both together. Try depression and mania at the same time, it a trip you only want to take once. If you had the choice.

I've grown to hate this strain from Dutch Passion. Too week, tastes like chemicals - and not the good kind. Still melts anxiety. I have on order Super Strawberry Diesel from Elite Genetics, the original SC clone X Diesel several times. Potent and real Strawberry Cough Drop taste.

wow. that the most in depth answer iv ever gotten in here. i guess it would be considered a mania. i feel like i need to put a roof on at 3 in the morning. no quivering in the corner, but total restlessness, insomnia. i cant relax if i can find something that needs to be done, unless i sedate. i do not have feelings of anxiety at werk or when im occupied. however, i always enjoy an upity sativa on my way to werk. gets me feeling alert. its my morning cup of joe. however as soon i get home, i want the herb that will let me get to sleep at a decent hour, and let me let the roof go undone fer now

It sounds like you need 3 types of high/stones.

I have Kali Mist, Bubblegum and Strawberry Cough as my daytime smokes. Still vegging KM and BG, from what I read Kali Mist is going to be phenominal. Original Cheese would be nice too.

You need a hard hitter if you have regular insomnia. Medicine Man (White Rhino) or Lifesaver would be great choices. If you wake through the night you'll want to bake some into brownies to get longer effect.

This is the hardest one, something to make you feel content but not couch locked. Blueberry is a tough strain to get into but it has a nice euphoric stone and is multi purpose medicinally - pain, nausea, sleep, loss of appetite, etc. DJ Short has the best genetics and a lot of strains in the blue family, so you have some options in the type of high/stone you get. Dutch Passion carries his Blueberry and I believe some other strains.

right on. i appreciate the links as i am definitely changing my seed supplier. my seeds now are from cannabisseeds.com. i got 12 ww seeds from there and wasnt really impressed as 7 sprouts came up and 3 had to be pulled fer slow er no growth. i then gave them another chance and bought the bundle of 96 feminized. i have tried to germ over 30 so far and have had 0 sprouts. i know its not my germ method as it is the same method i have always used successfully.

I had the same problem, I bought seeds from a poor breeder (F2 seed producer really) for nearly 2 years and didn't realize that a seed producer's WW is way different than a top breeder's strain. Completely different experience with good genetics, the extra money is worth it.
