need ta no about the coldness of it all

ok so heres the deal, this was the first year i grew and everything went good, im still smokin my plants and im almost out *cries a lil inside*. and low and behold theres another growing all by itself that i had no clue about in the same spot as the last 2, i no its not done growing but its getting cold outside like around the 40s and its been raining for the past couple days and i dont think its gonna get warmer, so my question is should i cut it down cuz the buds r a decent size and the plant is taller than i am and im about 5 10. or should i let it finish growing, a couple people told me to always cut down plants when the weather turns around the 40s and i looked all over so screw it. someone please help me so i can no when to get the best out of it

when it starts to frost it will surely die. you have to watch out for bud mold in cool humid condions too. you can cover with burlap or some other breathable material at night time to keep them from freezing. This is my best guess. Anyone with more experience feel free to set me straight.

thanx, sorry to bombard u with questions but the last stuff i grew had red hairs and this 1 had purple......does that mean its lacking nutrients or is it the straind. and wat does bud mold look like?

The purple tint if not genetics probally from colder weather tines to turn purplish in colder weather

yeah, mine is just some ol bagseed and the cold weather is turing my buds and big fan leaves purple
