Need to know if I messed up bad.

Better pictures of the plant would help ! Tbh looks like a lot going on with that poor girl And to my knowledge you’re not suppose to just mashup nanners and call it good I think you’re suppose to make almost like a smoothie of water and said banana for your plant

U need to do some research. Or u can continue current tactic, but u will most certainly fail/have a really hard time.

For ur problem, it's its not 2 deep can't u remove it?
Edit: I actually don't have a clue about soil, but I would not want that in my coco.

The bottle cap was just to straighten it out a little, it has a strong base. Just concerned with the white fungus growing on top. I had someone tell me it’s saprophytic Fungus. It’s said to be harmless and actually beneficial but I’m just double checking if it is actually that/

First off welcome to Riu and what are you feeding and the light you are using wife said the same on the 2 inches get that stuff out add fresh dose it smell like cat piss might have root rot

Just switched out the soil to address the root rot. I just put pieces of banana on the top layer of soil without blending it. The pieces of banana started to cause the formation of the fungus. Should I remove the top layer of cocoa with the banana pieces and fungus or remove it? Other than that it’s been growing pretty well
