Need to transplant asap

So I have a mix of 60 ocean forest. And 40 coco coir.
I only have a little bit of soil left and no money to get more but I need to transplant asap.
Going for 2 gal to 5 gal buckets.
Would it be okay if I made a mix of like 40 coco 30 soil and 30 perlite just to fill the bottom of the pots to transplant? Or is that a no go?

i do full grows in 5 ltr pots pulling maybe 3-4 ounces per plant and yes that what u are meant to do soil perlite mix ditch the coco

How long do you usually veg for? Any topping or forms of lst?
And they dont get root bound in those pots?

A 5 gal pot is a large container for an indoor grow. I use 3 gallon one's and they work fine.(rule of thumb is 1 gal per month of grow)
You will be fine using the perlite as a substitute, and as mentioned by robb333, you can leave the coco out

I veg for 4 weeks minimum, and if you have the time, 5 weeks is the best for big plants.
I have decent headroom for my grow so on most plants I just let them go, on my Saliva's I will end up LST' ing them though.
As far as being root bound, it ain't really a concern for an 8-10 week plant, by the time the plant slows down due to restriction of the root system, it will/should be harvested.

Well I'm doing white widow and I've read that its recommended to use larger pots cause they grow long roots, but you never know the accuracy of what you read on the internet lol.
I topped them once and plan to start scroggins here soon. I actually cut too low on my top (basically a fim lol) so each plant has 6-8 main tops. Which I guess will be good for scrog.
The plants are about 3 weeks now. And I was planning to veg for about 2 weeks more, maybe 3 to include recovery time from the topping.

Your plants look fine...and they don't look like they're too big for their containers. Why the re-pot? If it were me I'd stick with either soil or coco, but I wouldn't try to mix the two.

I already have a mixture of the two in there, and the main reason I need to transplant now is so i can start scrogging.
Because there is no way to transplant after starting scrog

To the guy who said not to worry about transplanting, and asked why I'd bother when they dont look too big for the pot.
I just transplanted today and they were literally some of the absolute worst root bound plants I've ever seen.
So thank you for the horrible advice.
My advice to you is, dont give people and sort of recommendations unless you know what your talking about.
I would have done it days ago, but because of the reassurance I got here I waited and allowed them to get much worse

You asked about mixing your mediums together, not when or if it was necessary to transplant. In fact you made it clear that you were in fact going to re-pot these for your SCROG. Several people gave their opinions (not facts), including myself in terms of your question (mixing two different mediums). We all questioned the pot size you were using and if it was necessary to transplant, but not one of us, told you 'don't repot'. Sorry you feel you were given poor advice. I'm not mad or anything, you just had me feeling a little crazy for wanting to transplant and all had me thinking that I needed to wait.
Oh well, lesson learned. They're all drooping like mfs. But I think they'll recover.

Their drooping just a little bit today, but then again, I checked on them during dark hours and they always drop a little bit when they are sleeping
