Well- for the best bet to not have any odor- you need a 'closed' system...
meaning outdoor air goes into the ducting from outside, thru the SEALED hoods thru more ducting and back outdoors-- without ANY of the air from the room getting into the system... it cools the lights, but doesn't exchange the air in the room..

That is best done (if possible) with air intake coming from either outdoors (through a good filter-- no mites!) or from the coolest part of the building... and exhausting into an attic or small empty room where you can use an odor control... such as an ozone generator, or a Ona system. These work BEST when the air is pumped into a closet-sized area/box that is airtight and vents from there to the outdoors without any air leaking back into the building.

Make sure you have oscillating fans for air movement... can't tell ya what or how many lights without knowing the size of the area or the size hoods you plan to use. In a 6x6 room One Raptor hood on a 1000w light will do the whole grow (I prefer Hortilux EYE bulbs)

Whatever you use- may I suggest you get Light "yo-yo's" they allow you to raise and lower the lights with one hand-- easy!!

Good luck on your 1st grow! Be sure to really read-up on EVERYTHING... and ask as many questions as need-be to know what to do BEFORE you do it! ;)
