Neem oil and Monterey bt together?

i had a small infestation of spider mites and another species of bug on both of my outdoor plants recently, I’ve used neem oil on them 2 times in the past 2 weeks and it seem to bring down the mites and such but I am still getting holes in both older and newer leaves, some light spots, and some sizable holes in a few leaves. I know caterpillars are an issue in my area because I’ve learn they are the Culprits to some of my unsolved issues in my last 2 years of growing and have purchased a bottle of Monterey BT. Can you mix neem oil and bt in the same 32oz of water? Or mix separately and spray at the same time? Or alternating per week?

I wouldn't mix them. It won't harm anything, but it's a waste of neem as it won't accomplish much.

Neem oil is more of a preventative than a cure. The neem oil is meant to keep pests away, but it doesn't actually kill anything.

Spinosad is also kind of the same. It's a bacteria, so it's something you want to spray as a preventative to get the bacteria to multiply enough to prevent any pests in the first place. If you have a large enough pest problem then it's going to take a very long time to get results with Spinosad.

But don't despair! Make yourself a habanero tea and kill those fuckers dead! Boil a half pound of habaneros in water, seeds and all. Strain the habanero water and spray your plants with it. It won't affect the flavor as it dissipates within 24 hours, I've used it up until the last 3-4 days of flower with zero negative effects.

This is your best bet because you'll be starving them out. You know how we react to habaneros? Imagine how something as tiny as a spider mite will react when they munch on your plants covered in habanero spray, they'll drop dead in quick order.

Neem kills mites by suffocating them the same way canola oil works when mixed with an insecticidal soap. For mites you need to spray every 3rd day for a min of 3 treatments. I finally got rid of my mites by sticking to the schedule for four treatments. 2 months and still bug free!

Outdoor plants are especially problematic as mites live out there so it's near impossible to ever get rid of them completely if they are common in your area like they are here.

Bt is a bacteria so mixing it with neem probably coats the bacteria and makes the ineffective so as noted above, alternate treatments.

Good luck.
