That's one of the things that really made me wtf. When I was watching it I was asking myself where the hell is his attorney through the whole him being questioned thing. Then at the end there I got the part where his attorney set that whole thing up. On top of that it was more or less a backdoor deal to help set a conviction for his uncle that his attorney was in on.
It's things like this though that are really opening the public's eyes though as to how corrupt the whole "justice system" really is. In the states anyways. That's pretty much every small town/county in the US.
I would honestly enjoy spitting in that district attorney's face for his comment about "Maybe in some large city like Madison you'll see corruption like that".
As far as his first attorney I wouldn't piss on that guy to help him if he was on fire. I might do it to make it sting though lol.
The thing is there's no telling how many people that guy's thrown under the bus for some sort of backdoor politics or favors. I doubt it's an isolated incident. To pull something like that in such a high profile case just kinda tells me he's acting on nothing but hubris. People in places of power in a small area such as that often get a complex where they're untouchable.

I want to start this. Keep seeing commentaries about it on various channels. Tell me it's not like the regular shows that just fucking drag. Like American Horror story: Not only does it drag along at a glacial pace, after the many commercial breaks it comes back reiterates what just happened then drags some more. Rescue Me did this too and I lost interest. Actual content per episode was like, 10 minutes.

Yeah, that is a common thing these days. My favorite is when they do that sort of 'repeat everything' from before the break but somehow they can't manage to fit it into 60 minutes - they need 65 or so. A clear passive aggressive ploy to fuck with your DVR and make you miss a competing networks show.

This series made me physically ill. It's good that people's eyes are being opened not just to the corruption of police and gov in this instance but everywhere. The justice system is far, far from perfect.
