Never Again.

I regret to inform that i didnt take a whole lot of pictures. . . But i do love all the haters that have been dissing me. I'll give you some info, i havent been growing for very long, and so far i've only grown 6 plants, 3 of which came from seeds. As i am in the newbie section. The next grow will have 3x the yield and i will do a full journal of its growth. I use 1000w MH/HPS combo, Pro Mix grow medium, and advanced nutes high dosage nutrients. I did harvest a half pound, it has a minty pheno, my seeds have all come from stray bags of dank i've purchased from sketchy drug dealers. and the picture was 19 days into flowering, i harvested 20 days later, due to inexperience - nute burn - heavy nugs snapping the nodes, impatience. Could be numerous things. The story here was "HEY IM SUPRISED THIS WEED CAME OUT AS GOOD AS IT DID COME CHECK IT OUT WISH I COULD SHARE" --- not "HEY COME HATE ON ME AND POINT OUT THE FLAWS IN MY PLANT, IM NOT SAD ENOUGH COME TALK SHIT ABOUT WHAT I HAVE TO SMOKE ON AND CONSERVE FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS DUE TO DUD / MALE SEEDS / NON ROOTING CLONES.
 
Give Me some advice

1. Everyones saying my plant is stretchy, i thought it grew beautifully, then again i got to see it in person and tend to it throughout its growth.

2. It filled out nicely and stunk my house up, Why's everyone hatin?

3. Give me detailed instructions on how i can improve my grow, don't just diss on me and call me a liar, im a lot of things but a liar isn't one.

Tips:
1) Get a good exhaust fan to vent the fuck out of your light, keeps temps down and lets you get light closer to plant.
2) Get light a shit load closer to the plants. (I go 6-20 inches, depending on strain and age)
3) Veg till 20-24 inches since you seem to have plenty of vert space (end up with 48-68inch plant) that isn't stretched to hell.

That will go a long way to helping you.
 
I nearly 86'd my laptop when I spewed ice tea on it after reading the original post then scrolling down to see the photo. A half pound off THAT plant? Maybe wet weight......
 
surely for a 6 foot mj with hps the actual light would have to be about 4 feet away from the plant, and for the plant to stretch like that would need say another 2 foot, so your grow room is like 12 feet tall??, when i first started using cfls i was way too far from my plants, every time they came near i raised quite a lot, so i ended up with a mj like in the pic, i realised where i went wrong and left the lights closer, each branch seperated and started bending back, so i chopped early, dryed, got half ounce of smoke premature, bloody shit, i just dont see how you got a heavy yeild?

I think you could have got about a pound if you'd defoliated a little and maybe pissed into the pots first thing after you got up in the morning. Other than that, I'd say that's Hard Mode growing all the way. +REP
 
It ain't hating, it is just that we look at that plant and it doesn't add up. I also don't see how that plant could yield that much. not trying to be mean but she does look skimpy and more than 20 days from a half pound yield. So if you did, then I hope you cloned her because you got something special!
 
This is a perfect example of hard mode is that the all stretch pheno? Anyway great job these fools don't know your killing two birds with one stone. U get bud and fire wood!
 
I got 5 grams of hash from plant material & a half oz of some fruity tasting dank (14 g's) for personal smoke and 3 ounces profit. (just finished my last 12 hr dry session today) so im guessing what my dude told me was a green crack seed definitely wasn't but it did fill out alot nicer than u guys are thinking and like i said im growing with what i have to work with. next grow will be better, follow my profile in 3-4 weeks im gonna be starting a huge journal.
