Never clip and trim the same again!!!!!

I decided to write this thread, cause I know there are people who still trim branch by branch, what I mean is, cut a stalk, trim and hang. There IS a better way!!! And its caled , hanging the whole plant!!! This is such a time saver! Not to mention, less stress on ur hands and back, u can use two hands too get in there. Much better then holding with one hand, and trimming with the othere!! Best way to hang it, go to home depot, get u a decent size drywall hook, screw it into celling, and hang with wire. I like to trim of all none sugar leaves on to a peice of cardboard, then place a new clean one for sugar leaves.takes about 2 hours to trim up a lb with two people. After done trimming, let the whole plant dry.5-6 day's, later, trim In to ur jars! Saves a TON of space. Hope this helps some!! + rep if it does!!

Thanks guys!! Glad it help someone!! So much faster! And I like leaving the plant intact. It helps If u have two people, one to hold top of plant, and the other to cut it down, but I have done the whole process by myself!

Definitely give it a shot, works well for tall trees as well as short ones. Another tip, start from top, and work way down, so any loose leaves u already cut will keep falling down/off

I do the same exact thing except I trim it as it is upright, then cut the whole thing down and hang it to dry. I live in a really dry environment and it gives me an extra 2 days or so of slower drying time, which is awesome. I started doing this on my most recent grow and the quality of my drying/curing went way up.

I'm all about hanging plants whole, and giving a nice slow dry. I usually trim after I dry as I notice that having a few leaves on helps slow then down more.

How is this easier on your back? Are you standing up while trimming? Wouldnt you rather sit down and trim?.

I trim most of the bigger leaves a week before to ripen any shaded bud and take most of the leaf off then I have half the work later.

another tip...leave paper or cardboard underneath the drying plant and buds...then collect the thc crystals/kief that fall on them

It does make life easier just rip large leave then cut any small ones.

Check out the defoliation test link for info do it over a couple of days and don't feed for a couple of days then let it leaf out big before doing again in veg do it as much as you like just give them a chance to releaf and when you have the size and density you want flower her.

I just chopped a diesel plant tonight that I had in a scrog. I cut the stem and just moved the whole screen into the other room to dry. I flipped it upside down and pulled off a couple fan leaves and there it hangs for a few days.
