Never planted before - please help!

Here soon will be my first time planting.
I plan on planting between 10-15 indoors.
I basically need to know how much space i need.
And be walked through everything, doesnt have to be very detailed.
Just need to know what supplies i need, but i have a low budget.
I'm not trying to spend very much money.
