Never saw this before, what's up with this?

Overnight, one of my little girls (hopefully) developed a strange coloring on just one leaf. Only half of it turned yellow (see below). Should I be concerned? The pic below is from the second morning of this coloring. Rather peculiar I'd say. Anyone else ever see a single leaf colored this way?:?

"Ionic" Growth formula nutes mixed as directed on label
Exactly 4 weeks old

At this point, there are 2 plants per pot, I started with 4 in each & culled the herd down to 2 per pot. Hopefully I'll end up with at least 2 ladies (crossed fingers).

Very odd, Never saw that before. I would not worry because the rest of the plant look healthy. Event he other side of the leaf looks ok. Just keep an eye on it and you should be ok.

A leaf or two is usually nothing, but having said that, keep an eyeball on them & go to FAQ...I was reading it last night, lots of pic's for diagnostic purposes, and probable causes......just don't start curing a none existent problem, thats where a lot of folk make their worst mistakes.....Be sure 1st........

Yeah, I'm not really worried about it, more curious than worried. Maybe this one will be "The One" with a little "Acapulco Gold" feel from yesteryear.:mrgreen::blsmoke::peace: Good memories from the "Gold"....well, what's left of this old guys memory :lol::lol::lol::eyesmoke:bongsmilie:bigjoint::-P. I know, the "Gold" coloring from the old days is from the strain and growing area after curing and drying.:roll:

"No stems or seeds that you don't need, Acapulco Gold is (puff puff puff) bad ass weed." Anyone else remember that? So, who said it? Quiz time :lol:.

looks like that part of the leaf needs nutes, maybe part of it got bent or broken or maybe you not feeding 100% as you should? wierd tho cuz the rest of the plant look well fed. if it spreads i say she needs to be fed more now

Theres a Lock out and its starting to show check out your ph levels and feed them

Its nothing to worry about you can snip that yellow part of if u wish to prevent it spreading ,
All they just need is some nuterent intake man

Every leaf can't be perfect. Or can it? Anyways i wouldn't be to worried. Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't spread. But it looks like a Nitrogen issue. Go over the GrowFaq.

Next question: You notice 13 joints there...what's the significance?:?: (I know, too easy)

As for my little mis-colored baby, she hasn't grown any more yellowed leaves. And the one that is half yellow, is still on the plant. Do y'all think I should take a blade to it? Or keep an eye on it to see what happens?

It's been a couple days and there IS new yellow growth, again, strange pattern (see below). I just painted the walls white, that's why they're out of their room and the wife :hump: is getting hair done :mrgreen:. So I had time to do stuff. I also topped the kids today (fingers crossed I did the right timing). Anyway, what do your experienced eyes think? It seems like everything else is good and the rest of that plant looks healthy :-? and the other plants show no affect. So I'm still not gonna worry too much just yet. I'll just light something :joint: and see it takes my worries away...for a while anyways. Let me know what you think--Thanks

LOL...Thanks for the morning laugh :lol:. I am leaning toward your point of view and like the Beatles sang "Let It Be". So, unless something drastic changes, I'll just keep watching, dreaming and drooling :twisted: . Thanks alphabibbiddy boo boo.

Looks like zinc deficency!!! I would check the soil's drainage ph just to be sure. But if ph is right i would add some zinc plated screws to the soil for a slow fix or you could take some and put them in a water bottle and let them sit for at least 6 hours to let some of the zinc come off and foliar feed with the water. you could also use some newer pennies which are 97.5 percent zinc but you have to make sure you burn off the copper plating.

Thanks KAOSOWNER, it sounds like you speak from experience about this. If you're familiar, the Auto-Pot system (Auto Pot Growing System from Home Harvest Garden Supply) has no drainage, it's more of a wicking system. That's a great idea though for the zinc with screws or pennies and spraying the leaves if that's what they need;-). Thanks for the idea. And you prize is--:joint::joint::joint: and a little bongsmiliebongsmilie for good measure. :clap:

UPDATE: I just flushed the kids with fresh tap water and cut the nutes down by 2/3's. The malady is still going on :cry: but still with just the one plant, but "she?" is also the the fastest grower. Maybe that plays a factor in this. Now that I've been watching her for a while, she also displays symptoms of "nute burn", at least that's what I surmised from the pictures in the FAQ section for nute or ph problems. See attached pics & give me your feelings. :-? As you will see, I topped them 2 days ago, so most of the growth is bigger leaves. I should see something change from the flush and nute reduction in a day or 2 and I'll post findings then. Thanks in advance as usual. :joint::peace:bongsmilie:bigjoint::weed:
