Science?
"Never top an auto." ~
People.
We see this all the time. Fact? Fiction? Myth? Tales of yore?
Let's find out.
disclaimer: I'm not a scientist. I have received no training. I have little experience. I have no personal protection equipment on hand and I've likely already smoked myself silly. Do not try this without stoner supervision.
Let's begin, shall we.
I don't
just believe everything I'm told. If it came from the internet, even less. I take risks. Life is a game. Chance is involved. To win, you gotta play. If you play you can lose. I wanna play. So here goes.
Canuck seeds auto cheese topped @ day 26. Why? Free seed! Let's kill it! K, sorry no earlier pics. I did this on a whim because I switched to COB lighting and was experiencing exponential growth.
Don't mind the stakes. I did no LST on this plant at all. The stakes give a pretty good reference of growth. They're 14" taller than the bucket. Watch them disappear before you're very eyes.
Sprouted on 3/6. Topped 4/1. First pic was taken 4/14

So there we have it. So far, so good. She's in full flower now. Issues with this soil again but whatever. The only visibly slowed growth was the top. It's since caught back up and risen above the side branches.
I'm a little concerned with the number of bud sites and her finite life span. We'll see what happens there.
My only regret is NOT having another untouched cheese growing for comparison. C'Est la vie.
