I've found that vertical plants will reward higher watts per square foot, similar to flatlander style. That said, I've spent years growing under very low light levels and still got good results.At 10:00 pm I didn't feel like breaking into radioshack for 2 fuses. Maybe tonight though.
I am thinking each plant might be 3' wide and 7' tall in I use heavier reds the first 2 week. So that is 21 square feet per plant and I think I will run 3 COB's per plant @ around 125 watts each. That would put me under 20 watts per square foot. This run is going through the hottest time of the year, so I don't want to be over 2500 watts in lighting.
